I was lifting weights, when I saw Finn and Sami walk in. I smiled at the two of them, and they walked over to me, Finn chuckled softly.

"I waz just telling Sami 'bout yer little problem. Ya know, with Adam and Marty."

I rolled my eyes, and sat down the weights, before letting out a deep breath. "Yeah, and it's only getting worse."

Sami breathed a laugh. "Well, it sounds complicated from what Finn's told me."

I rubbed the temples of my forehead. "It is. Apparently, me and Adam are being put in a storyline. Thanks to Kevin."

Sami pursed his lips together, and shook his head. "Man. That's gotta be rough."

Finn nodded in agreement. "Ya, I can't imagine being Marty right now."

Sami furrowed his brows. "Are you serious? I can't imagine being Adam! Having to be in a freaking storyline, with the ex you're still in love with, only to know she's gonna go back to her boyfriend? That's hell man!" Sami explained.

Finn sighed. "Ya, I know..but seeing your girlfriend pretending to be into another guy? Her ex? 'Dats gotta be horrible."

Sami sighed, and looked around the room, seeing who else was around.

"Oh good! Becky! Seth! Come here!" He called out, catching their attention.

They shrugged and walked over.

"What is it?" Seth asked.
Sami sighed, before explaining everything.

"Who do you think has it worse?" He asked.

Becky cleared her throat. "Adam. Marty's actually with her, he doesn't have anything to worry about. Unless, he's insecure that is.." She replied, earning a smile from Sami, and an eye roll from Finn.

"Well..I say if you can't choose, then move on. Start over. Isn't that what's best for everyone?" Seth replied

Sami and Finn both scoffed at his reply.

"Shut up, that wasn't the question!" Sami exclaimed jokingly.

I rolled my eyes, and let them converse about it, as I went to train some more.

I got home late, I was exhausted. My loft was pretty quiet thankfully. I went into my room, where Marty was waiting, and I rubbed my eyes, and smiled softly.

"Oh hey, sorry I'm late. I had a lot to do."

He was frowning. "We have a lot to talk about. So why don't I start by asking why you still have an engagement ring that your ex boyfriend gave you?" He asked, a hurt expression on his face.

I let out a sigh.

"Is this what we're gonna do tonight Marty? We're gonna fight? Fine." I began, before clearing my throat. "How the h*ll do you even know I still have it? And more importantly, why does it matter? How many times do I actually have to choose you, for you to feel chosen? Actually, no. I can't do this right now. Let's just pause this." I blurted out, not even thinking about the fact that he didn't know what it meant.

He furrowed his brows, and frowned. "I don't do that Love. And the reason it matters, is because it's him. Why would you take it with you?"

I shook my head, and my eyes began to tear up. "Because, I was still in love with him when I left! Okay? Is that what you wanna hear?! But it doesn't matter anymore! I'm with you!"

His face dropped. "Were you still in love with him when you said all that to me when I drove you to the airport? The only f*cking reason, I've been able to keep it together this long, is because of what you said to me then. But if he was in the back of your mind the whole time, then..did you even actually mean it?"
