The world ends now - (Levi x Reader)

Departure

It began to pour heavily out of nowhere. The sky darkened within a few seconds.

He flew in the air like a hawk, it was amazing, you thought. As you asked of him, he drew the titans' attention on him, so that you could set up the explosive. You carefully placed the dynamite on the ground near one of the town's dwell, right next to the barn. It was the nearest spot next to one of the buried landmines. You could see and hear the titans on their rampage just a few hundred meters away from you. 

To prevent it from getting wet, you covered the explosives with your jacket, but you cursed, when you found the matchbox sodden inside of the pockets of your black jeans. In anger, you threw them away and made out, that the titans are beginning to lose interest in the soldier.  

You got nervous and hastily looked around for something to light a fire with. 

"Did you light it?", the man shouted at you, but he knew that your plan failed, when he saw you looking around nervously. "Tch. I knew that this was a shitty plan.", he muttered to himself. In a moment of abstraction, the man lost sight of one of the titans who was chasing him. The female titan spotted you instead and came running for you.

"Brat! Watch out! It's coming for you!", he screamed.

In the corner of your visual field you had already detected the assailing giant, but you still didn't want to let go of your plan. Adrenaline rushed through your whole body, your heart was beating like crazy and the man's voice echoed in your head again and again. You looked around aimlessly, you began to feel dizzy as you desperatly tried to look for something to create sparks with.

Do you know about the secret of these dwells?

Your eyes stopped moving when you got a glimps of the dwell next to you, as your brother's voice came into your mind. 

"Damnit! I can't get to her with all these titans! I have to get rid of them first and then I will get her!", the soldier said. He swiftly landed on a rooftop and changed his dull blades in the blink of an eye, before he stomed off again to cut down the monsters surrounding him. The rain was heavy, blurring his vision and weighting him down.

The female titan was about to reach you, but you ignored her for now. Instead, you took out your sword and hit the stone wall of the wall hard with the hilt. You desperately hit at it, again and again, with more power each time, as you clenched your teeth.

These dwells are special, no other town has them. Do you see the first row of stones on this fringe?

"Run!", he screamed at you at the tops of his lungs, when he that the titan was almost reaching you, "Have you gone mad?"

"I know what I am doing!', you shouted back at him. Your clothes were completely soaked and sticking to your body, just as your wet hair was sticking to your face, but you didn't care about that at that moment. 

With the next hit, you managed to break out small boulders from the dwell. You hastily grabbed them and crouched over the dynamite, throwing away the jacket that was covering the explosive. The ground began to shake with the female titan coming closer. You were too concentrated on trying to create a spark with the stones, that you did not notice her deformed grin, but you could hear her bloodcurdling scream.

 "Come on. Come. Come on...", you begged as you repeatedly hit the stones together, "Almost...there..."

These are special stones. They are firestones. People use them to make fires. A famous artist of this town designed the dwells and dedicted them to his wife, who was said to adore them. When you take a closer look at them, they do look peculiar, don't you think?
