How To Be A Baddie

G Eazy & Halsey.

A couple days ago or so, G Eazy and Halsey announced to the world they are dating, with an Instagram picture of him holding her up bridal style.

Woah.

First off I thought Blackbear would've started dating Halsey tbh, seemed more casually to me. But then my lurking skills brought me to the knowledge that he's with Bella Throne or they're "talking" or something like that.

ANYWAY. Both G Eazy and Halsey are successfully artist, despite the fact their music is in different genres. Personally, I've dug into both of their music, and love it.

Okay now here's my point as to why I'm writing this chapter.

There has been so much love and support towards the couple, but there's also been some backlash.

Some people are saying G Eazy should've gotten with Lana Del Rey, who, hasn't even met him. (Ion think, don't attack me). And because of the fact the Lana Del Rey fanbase apparently supports G Eazy, Halsey is getting a lot of inexcusable hate.

It's not just outside fan bases attacking them, it's also a part of Halseys. I lurk a lot on their comments, and apparently some of the Halsey fandom wants her to date Lauren. The girl she made "strangers" with on her latest album "Hopeless Fountain Kingdom".

The song openly talks about Halsey and Lauren being bi sexual, and I give both of them their proper credit for having the ovaries to do so.

Halsey talked about wanting to have a bi sexual or gay woman singing the other vocals, since having a straight woman wouldn't make sense .

She's not wrong. But at the same time, since this song has dropped, people have wanted them to be together.

Just because they're both bi sexual woman doesn't mean they're going to fall in love with each other over one song. It also doesn't mean that they're going to wind up dating just because they both like girls.

Oh boy. So you can imagine my reaction when people were tagging Lauren asking "how did this happen".

Now let's talk about Gerald's fan base. I'm ready for some children to come at me so let's go.

In his music he talks about basically getting any girl he wants, he's the number one rapper in the game, nobody can mess with him and he'll never settle down for a woman.

Lolol ok. Since the announcement, his fanbase has fired back against him. Saying that Halsey has magically made him a different person.

My point of this rant is, both artist are successful and happy together, so the fan bases need to just leave them alone.

Don't get me wrong, I've seen a lot of love and support towards the couple. Personally I do ship them. But the amount of hate I've seen, blows my mind.
