Cutting off friends // storytime

Sigh. If I'm honest, cutting off your friends is hard. And I'm not talking about the people you talk to once or twice a week. I mean the people that's held you while you cried, that's backed you up into beef with somebody else, or that you've shared your food with. (I know the last one is deep.)

But sometimes people change. And the reality of it is:

They say pictures and memories don't change, just the people inside of them do.

And whoever started that was right. Because as time goes on people will ever stay down for you, or they're gonna switch up.

And I realize this isn't my usual bubbly chapter, but on a personal level, I've lost so many friends because they became snakes.

I'm pretty sure everyone knows what the term snakes are, so if you don't know google it.

Speaking of cutting off friends (ironic as hell) Imma have a story time at the end of this chapter talking about how my guy best friend acting shady 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Anyway, cutting off friends is hard no matter what. There's several ways to do this, but I'm only going to list off a few

1. Basically distance yourself. Don't text or call them first. Don't like their Instagram photos, dodge their text. End that Snapchat streak. Dont talk to them during the day. Eventually they're get the vibe that you don't want them in your life anymore.

2. I know this may sound petty but.hit em with a text that says "i don't want you in my life anymore" and then block them. It ends the argument they'd start and ends any possibility of them starting to post screenshots. (Btw make sure you know wtf you say during an argument cause you need to mean what you say).

3. Attempt to be civil & attempt to talk to them in real life. Discuss why you don't wanna be friends, what they did, and how you don't want any beef you just want them out of your life.

Don't be childish. Don't go on yo snap story and say "ME AND STACY AINT FRIENDS NO MO LMFAOOO NEED A GIRL BEST FRIEND HMU😛".

No, sit the fuck down. First of all, I know two of my options on that list were petty and extra, but that's beyond anything I would recommend doing.

STORYTIME:

(Have to change names for story purposes). So I have this guy best friend named Tony. Tony and I have been best friends for a little over a year now, and he's a great guy. At the beginning there was something romantic but we dropped it and he found someone else. (Ya know been there tried that with my ex but lol oops).

So him and his female going on for over seven months, and as long as she makes him happy I could careless. So three days ago, (Thursday), tony, Sarah, and Ethan were at Ethan's house hanging out.

Now Ethan and Sarah are dating. (There's a point in me saying this). So it was cold. And by cold, I mean cold as hell. So Ethan and Sarah were cuddling, and I asked Ethan to turn the heater on. He said no, so him and Sarah could cuddle 🙄💀.

So me and Tony lookin at each other. There was only one blanket so I was like "hey, if I lean on you for warmth it ain't gonna be a big deal right?" He was down with it, so we laid on the floor with the blanket and began falling asleep.

Okay now, lemme just remind y'all, I DONT HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM. THATS CHILDISH ASF WHEN HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND.

So the next morning I get this text, AND BITCH IM BENT. Apparently he had some kind of sexual asf dream, and he went and told Ethan and his girlfriend that we did some "hand stuff".

First of all, gag me with a spoon. That's disgusting. I could never ever put myself in that kind of a messy situation, and I consider tony like 80% gay, so what the actual fuck. Oh, and to add on top of that, he left me. Like he legit walked out of my life for something that didn't happen and that he started drama over.

So then Ethan got mad at ME. Yeah that's right, me. Because I was arguing back and forth with tony. I didn't want him to leave me. I sounded desperate, I'll admit. But then Ethan hit up my line and told me to drop it. So then I sat there confused as hell. Then Tony's girl adds me on Snapchat.

Oh boy here we go. So she's from the rich side of town, so I expected her to want to jump me. But actually she was the chillest one about the situation. (Tbh ion even think she cares that much about Tony but whoops).

And she told me Tony would comeback. *freeze frame*

Now ain't that a load of bull. How is he gonna walk out on me like that over some bullshit he made up, then try to walk back in my life.

I don't even know man. So then I find out Sarah is angry at me too. LIKE WTF DID I DO. somebody please gimme advice in the comments.
