I AM A GOD DAMN LAZY AUTHOR WHO DOESN'T REREAD THE CHAPTER TO EDIT! So, if you see any spelling errors, I'm sorry.

If your name is going to be Mai, Liza, Ali or Taya, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! UNLESS YOU WANT THE SAME NAME AND MAY COVER CONFUSION, I SUGGEST YOU PICK ANOTHER NAMES THAT DON'T INCLUDE THESE! I tried to pick less common ones as well if that helps.

Coffee sounds good at this time... I haven't ate breakfast because I wasn't hungry and I got up late as usual.

"Y/N!" I heard an annoying voice call to me. I sighed and waited for the coffee to be made.

"Oi answer me!"

She stood in front of me and I backed away.

"What can I do for you today, Ali," I said in a monotone.

"Don't act so formal around me!" She complained and groaned. "My manager is giving me a headache. She keeps complaining about how the designs are off," She said and showed me her new outfit idea.

"I mean it's great. I think your manager just hates you. Mine is just hanging and let's me do whatever I want."

"Lucky bastard! I have to be careful!"

The pouring stopped form the coffee maker and I took the jar and poured a cup.

"Want one to clear your mind?" I asked her as she answered with a yes right away.

I gave her cup to her. I added sugar and started sipping it.

I closed my eyes and sighed.

"..Have you been getting sleep? You look paler today. Plus, you wake up 20 minutes before work starts so that makes matters worse," Alia said with a worried tone.

"I'm not an early bird like you are. I'm the opposite.."

"Ugh, we need to get that fixed... You should really find a guy, Y/N. Ooh! I should send you on a blind date!" She said happily and took a sip of her drink.

I rolled my eyes and looked at her with an eyebrow raised. "You're crazy... You know I'm not interested in finding someone to date."

"Oh c'mon you're so boring. How about a girls' night?" She asked with a smile.

I stopped drinking my coffee suddenly and closed my eyes.

"Yay! No boys around just you and me!" Lex said and hugged me.

"Haha! It's been a while since it's been just the two of us," I said smiling.

I took a deep breath and reopened my eyes.

"...No thanks. Although I would stay up late, I don't like doing that stuff," I said as I kept drinking my coffee.

"Yep, you're not human. You barely look happy, you don't go out often, you stay up late. Honesty why do you even bother?"

"...." I averted my eyes somewhere else and landed on the clock.

"I gotta get back to work. Is Mai still on vacation?"

"Yeah... Unfortunately you'll be cashier again. Good thing is you get payed more for helping."

"I'll see you later..."

"Bye~!"

I went over to my office and claimed my designs and supplies. I grabbed water as well and carefully went behind the counter trying not to drop stuff.

Cadenza suggested I work here in the first place since I was unemployed. My music career slowly became disinteresting me and I slowly forgot how to play guitar.

I sit my things on the side and stood up, tapping my pencil on my forehead.

What should I do for the next design?

I heard a 'ding' and turned to their direction.

The customers came in and started looking at clothing.

I sighed of relief and went back to my work.

Work is stressful... I don't get enough sleep just because I don't go to bed early, I wake up late and feel gloomy, and I don't eat breakfast most of the time..

More customers came in and bought stuff. At the end of my shift, I grabbed my bag, changed and headed out the door.

Just as I was walking, a hand landed on my right shoulder and I looked to my right.

I quirked an eyebrow. "Ali? Don't you usually get out at 5?"

"Yep. Today I got out at the same one as you I guess," she shrugged and walked with me.

"Wanna get frozen yogurt?" Ali asked me with hope.

"I don't know.." I said skeptically but she dragged me along anyways.

We entered the store and grabbed our cups.

I filled my cup with some different flavors and put some toppings on it.

"Done?" She said as she grabbed my cup. "My treat."

I smiled a little and nodded as a thanks.

She gave the cups to the cashier and it struck me...

I looked at him throughout the whole time Ali was paying and we sat down.

"..." I didn't dig in my treat and looked down.

He awfully looks like him... But I know it's not him...

Ali nudged me and I looked up.

"What's up?" She asked.

I stared at the cashier and she looked at my direction.

"Oh... Do you still-

"No. I don't have feelings for him anymore. He's probably happily married or have a girlfriend of his own..."

"Oh c'mon don't be so gloomy, it's been 5 years since you last saw each other. There's plenty of fish in the sea," Ali said tying her best to cheer me up.

"...But that's not him. He looked like him but it's not." I sighed and took a bite of my treat.

"Look, I set you up for a blind date tomorrow at 10 am. You should go."

My eyes widen and I looked at he shockingly. "Why would you set me up on a blind date?! I told you dating is not my thing!"

"Oh c'mon don't be so gloomy. Plus, if you don't go I have no choice but to force you to go," She said having a weird atmosphere around her.

I gulped and sighed. "Fine... Just this once though. I'm not going to any of these," I said annoyed.

She shrieked with excitement and held my hands.

"W-What are you doing! You know I don't like touching-

"Finally!" She said and calmed down. "I hope this guy will make you happy!" She said smiling brightly.

I rolled my eyes and looked at the cashier.

Is it hard to believe that I can't stop thinking about you...
