(Heyyy I'm back! I'm better (I guess) But ya! Anyways, I hope you don't mind going into Malachi's life for now [No worries it's not long] since I want to put him on the spotlight for now! Anyways, hope you enjoy the story anyways)

Malachi
"What's up with you? You're so pale and emotionless," I said as I kept poking Y/N.

"Quit poking!" She yelled as she slapped my hand away.

"Geez... Did something happen to you?"

"..." She looked away and packed her stuff as slowly as any sloth on the planet.

"What happened?" I asked her as she slowly turned her focus towards me.

"Do I have to tell you?"

"Uh yeah because I'm like the most amazing person on the planet," I dramatically said while waving my hands in the air.

"Never mind," she said sharply as she continued to clean her desk.

"Alright alright I'm sorry. Joking aside, what happened?"

She sighed quietly as she plopped in her seat and I leaned against the wall, while hearing her whole story.

Flashback

"Oh my Irene the best part was when he stabbed the book with his wand while the guy vanished!" Levin said excitedly as he kept going on about the movie.

We were planning on going out to dinner afterwards but then stopped as soon as we saw La- Ahem... Liza.

"Levin! You didn't answer my calls or texts! Why were you outside the movie theater?"

How did this girl know where he was?!

"Um sorry Liza. Didn't I tell you I was going to hang out with Y/N today?"

"Oh sorry I forgot about her," she said honestly with a plain, innocent face.

I gradually face palmed while trying not to groan.

"Anyways we should go somewhere Levin~"

"But I promised Y/N-

"It's alright she won't mind right?"

Levin faced me with an uncomfortable face and looked uneasy, I just forced a smile and shook my head. "I-It's Alright. I don't mind. I have work tomorrow anyways so I'll just see you sometime Levin," I gave him a quick smile before turning a little.

"Y/N..." Levin hesitated a little. "Y-You're the best. I'll treat you out some time," I heard him say, not looking at his facia expression.

Levin said his goodbyes while Liza did the same. Except, she stayed behind a little.

"Oh by the way, I'll always win. Don't you think he's tired of you yet? Maybe he's forcing to be with you," she smirked.

"W-What? No! He's my friend!"

"Ex-friend."

And walked away.

"Oh c'mon Levin wouldn't-

"You don't know that! Who knows!" She said furiously as she threw of what looked like a picture of some sort.

I grabbed the picture as my eyes widened.

Y/N quickly saw the picture in my hands snatched it, looking a little embarrassed.

"I took this photo when we were in Grade 11..." I said as I looked at her to see her averting her eyes, showing her back to me.

"So?" She said coldly and turned around back to her work, while putting the picture on her desk, deciding it was a bad idea to throw it in the trash after all.

I sighed out loud and went out of the office, giving her some space to think.

Right as I was about to sit down outside her office, a person went and tried to open her office door.

"Oi Y/N! I got your stuff! Hey! Answer me will you?!"

I looked at her weirdly and continued to keep seeing what she was doing.

When she decided to give up, she turned to me and looked a little embarrassed, before sitting down next to me. "Sorry about that. I just wanted to give Y/N her stuff.."

Hmm...

"Oh! I'm Ali by the way," she said as she looked at me excitedly.

Friendly much? Bright personality?

"Uh I'm Malachi. I'm just waiting for Y/N."

"Oh you're Malachi! Nice to see you in person. She seemed happier when she saw you and Levin again. I'm glad she's doing better though," she smiled. "But.. Lately she's been to her gloomy self again."

"I know the reason to that. So, are you a close friend to her?"

"We met in college and we've became close ever since.. It's funny how we became close though since it was nearly impossible for her to open up."

"Oh I might know why.. She usually stuck to me and our group of friends since we were childhoood friends. She didn't really hang out with anybody else really."

"Oh.."

"But, she's upset at practically Levin," I sighed as I saw her look at me curiously. "Levin has a girlfriend as you may know," I said while taking a glance at her to make sure she actually knows. "Liza, the name of Levin's girlfriend, has said something bad to Y/N.. So now she's thinking that Levin doesn't want to hang out with her anymore."

"That's... Ridiculous. I hope she feels better. Maybe I should bring her some coffee," she thought out loud as she got up. "Welp, if you see her come out, do me a little favor and give you this for me please! Thank you."

She smiled at me brightly, looking directly into my eyes, making a light blush come onto my face as I stared at her walk away.

I slapped myself and coughed intentionally, trying to forget what just happened.

I sighed out loud and put my hands over my face to cover it, feeling quite embarrassed.

What the hell?

I probably just need some fresh air..

"Y/N!" I knocked at her door and came in, unaware that she was sleeping.

Luckily, she didn't wake up. I put her stuff down onto her desk neatly and saw that she was crying.

Nightmare?

"Levin..."

Was all she kept saying.

She really doesn't bother Levin with anything. Not even Lass..

All she does it go into a corner, sort her feelings out toward me or to herself, and cries her heart out..

This girl is too naive to confront him about it..

I should do something.
