Right as lunch came around, Yui and I went together to a nearby cafe thag I haven't noticed before.

"Is this a new cafe?" I asked her curiously as I looked upon the structure.

"Yeah, they just constructed it here," she said with a smile and headed inside.

We sat down on a table nearby and sat across from each other, looking at the menus.

"So, I did say this is my treat so get whatever you want," she smiled and met my eyes.

"I-I can buy myself one actually it's fine..." I said calmly.

"Really? It's my treat you know, it's fine."

"No I-

"Malachi stop being so stubborn," she said bursting out laughing quietly and looked back at me. "It's really fine me paying. The man doesn't always have to pay."

I blushed a little as I looked away, embarrassed. "Y-Yeah I was just suggesting..."

"Anyways, so... Did you got to Phoenix Drop College?" She asked me curiously to pass time.

"Yeah... Did you graduate there as well?" I asked her as she nodded.

Hmm... It would've been nice if I did meet her back then, I'm sure we would have been great friends...

"Yui, I have a question," I asked as she turned her head at me. "Did you know Levin and La- I mean uh Liza back then?" I asked her as she thought about it for a moment.

"Uh... Oh yeah! Levin and Liza. I remember! I set them up together even though this one guy was super annoying and kept pestering me about it that it was a bad idea. I really hated his guts," she said and sighed. "I even promised if I ever saw his face again I would slap him, since he and I were like enemies."

My eyes widened as I kept staring at her the whole time.

"Hey Yui!" I heard a guy say her name as my head turns to look at him.

The guy looked at me weirdly for a moment before shrugging it of. "And hello-

"I'm... Malachi..." I said as I looked away, annoyed.

Yui Carson! How could I forget?! Urg... I'm honestly so dumb, blinded by stupid love. Gross...

"Nice to meet you."

I looked back as I saw him sit next to her, then smiling at each other.

"I'm leaving..." I said out loud and stood up, not even wanting to stay for a free coffee.

"Why?" Yui asked sadly.

"I just figured I had some unfinished work to do. I'll just eat something by work, thanks anyways..." I said indifferently and stepped out, feeling shameful.

How can I be so stupid?! Ugh!

I started feeling some tears come from my eyes and I slapped myself, making me take a deep breath.

What the hell?! Am I seriously crying over hat stupid girl?! Urg! Honestly so annoying! I don't even know why people fall in Love, it's so stupid! I was afraid somethings like this would happen and I didn't listen to myself!

Whatever, she's using her fake kindness like she did back in college. Fake kindness but ugly inside...

I wiped my eyes with the sleeve of my shirt and kept repeating that, as tears came crawling out.
