Settling down Ashley?

I pronounce you Mr. and Mrs. Purdy

Things around the apartment were hectic Ashley was constantly working, with the band, with his clothing line, and now with the wedding. Aroara found Teal blue calla lilies online and they both agreed to use them in the wedding, essentially making the wedding kind of blue themed. She also picked the bridesmaid dresses and most of the decorations. Together they made the invitations, designed the cake, and picked the music. The wedding was set to take place in a small church by a pond, the ceremony will be outside facing the pond.

The guys and I are wearing grey suits and blue ties but we also had a single calla lilly pinned to our suits. The bridesmaids are wearing blue on blue ombre dresses and holding small bouquets of the calla lillies. Everyone was waiting patiently for Aroara to come down the aisle. The aisle had a blue carpet instead of red and blue ribbons lined the trail. The music cut my thoughts off and I turned eagerly to see Aroara. She took my breath away, her natural curls bounced softly over her shoulders as Joey walked her down the aisle. Her dad couldn't fly down so we're having the wedding recorded. I can feel my eyes starting to tear up but I can't look away. Finally I get to take her hands while Joey goes and sits down.

"Do you Ashley Abrocket Purdy take Aroara Gemma Walden to be your wife to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part." The pastor spoke clearly but swiftly.

"I do." I can't help but grin wildly. This is really happening.

"Do you Aroara Gemma Walden take Ashley Abrocket Purdy to be your husband to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part."

"I do." She started grinning ear to ear.

"Do you have the rings?" The pastor had the look of pride on his face as Luna's daughter brought up the rings. Jules, Luna, Lily, and Inna were beaming at me while we waited for the child to make her way up the steps. From the look on her face Andy, CC, Jinxx, and Jake were grinning at her too.

"I now pronounce you man and wife." The pastor smiled as I slid the ring on her finger and she returned the favor. I don't know about her but my stomach feels light and my heads spinning. "You may kiss the bride." And just like that, Aroara became my rock. When her lips hit mine the room quit spinning.

Reception came along and it was nice to finally undo my shirt, Aroara took my tie and put it on. Aroara changed into a white to blue ombre dress, she was glowing. Some of the dancing looked like they were about to become mosh pits so we started the speeches. Pictures and videos littered social media. The cake was finally brought out, it was very classy, the dough was dyed black with blackberry juice, strawberry filling, and buttercream frosting. I playfully smooshed some cake on Aroara's face which she gladly returned the gesture. I was excited to take her to the caribbean and drink margaritas on the beach. It was only for a weekend but I think we both could use some time off.
