14.My Hidden Star

I finally went downstairs to a hopeless Namjoon, all over the couch on the phone... wait,  HE'S ON MY PHONE!

He stood up and put my phone in front of my eyes with something on the screen.

N : " Could you explain to me what is it?"

Shit, he discovered it.... God help me I've never felt so embarassed in my whole life. My face was burning.

S : "GIVE IT TO ME! Th-This is..."

Ok, ok! I admit it, in my free time, I actually write poems. Yes I do! What's wrong with that, don't judge me. Namjoon, being taller than me lifted his arm up with my phone in it and started reading.

N : "Could it be that that star is also looking at me?
I mean isn't it most probably is?
Is that star also looking at me?
I mean me...
Wouldn't it be looking for me now?
Or, maybe it's sidestepping me?
I mean me...

N : " Wow, that's pretty deep..." he looked at me confused and suprised at the same time and a smirk started to form on his face.

S : "Are you making fun of me?!"

N : "No, uhm... On a serious note, I really, really love your writing, that's pretty touching actually. When did you wrote that ?"

S : "Oh uhm, thank you I guess. I... I just wrote this the other night, I couldn't sleep so I went to the balcony and, you know... the night sky inspired me so I wrote this. That's nothing so, give it back to me now thank you." I took my phone off of his hands and opened the front door. "I am starving, come on Joon!"

We finally decided to go eat some pizza, it's been a while. While we were walking to the Pizza Place, I felt Namjoon throwing glares at me multiple times for the past ten minutes.

S : "If you have something to tell me, then do it. You're bothering me with these stares, you're creepy"

N : " What are you talking about goofhead?"

S : "Yah, do you think I don't know you, I know you want to tell something and you're trying to hold it back, but the temptation is too strong. So now, spill. If you want to say something, say it"

Urgh, I know him too well, I know he's going to talk about the lyrics I wrote, that was fucking evident I was talking about a special someone, this someone being HIM! How am I going to get out of this situation, ahhh!!

N : " Was your text about someone in particular ?..." See, I told you

S : " Why do you think that ? No, it's not about someone, absolutely not, why would I feel things like this, seriously it doesn't make any sense, you know I am full of imagination and it just came on my mind and I decided to wrote it down and do something cool with it, that's it, nothing more why do you think that, seriously..." I am out of breathe fuck

N : "Whah, are you okay?..." i just nodded and he came closer to my face and looked at me straight in the eyes. "You don't seem really fine, you are as red as the tomato sauce we're gonna get on our pizza by the way. Did you catch a cold, all of a sudden maybe...?

S : "Leave me alone !!!!!!!!" I pushed him with my shoulders and went ahead, fuck this, I just want to eat now, and If I could hide under a car or something It'll be great. Screw you, Kim Namjoon.

After five long minutes, we finally arrived to the pizza place and we sat in a table for two.

I don't even know what to think anymore honestly, I am supposed to be Taehyung's girlfriend and I am here, hanging out with my all time best friend who I'm in love with... Terribly and deeply in love.

Actually, I wrote this text the night after our housewarming dinner. I just couldn't sleep and I just decided to write what was on my heart.

That's true though, I just picture him like the shiniest star in night sky. It's here every night  and you can see it shine like a diamond when the night is clear but when it's cloudy, it dissapears under them. But even if you don't see it, even if you can't see it, you know it's here, just in front of you, looking at you but you still feel like it's just out of reach because it's so far away from you. But eventually, the clouds will dissapear and even if it's far away, the star will shine again and it's all that matters.

Our pizza finally arrived, I was starving to death!

N : "Saia? Can I tell you something?"

S : " Mmmhh whuut?" I still had pizza in my mouth

N : " I... I actually really like you and I'm tired of holding this secret I had for so long in my heart"

S : " You... You what ?" Did I hear right? Am I dreaming, someone pinch me!

N : " I said what I just said. I really like you, and not just... not just liking, as friends, it's-it's more than that for me" he got rid of the piece of pizza I had in my hand and leaned closer and closer to my face until our nose touched. He looked at me right in the eyes and whispered " Please, be mine"
