Elsa's POV

I ran as fast as I could through the woods, praying I'd find some evidence that Derek had been here. I needed a lead on his location. It frightened me that he was running off to find his dad. We didn't know how strong he was. If something would happen to Derek, I'd die.

I kept going untill the moon had replaced the sun. I sat down on the cool grass and looked up at the sky. Please god please, I prayed. He has to be ok. Nothing would be right if he wasn't. And it would be all my fault. I closed my eyes, and sleep caught me.

Derek's POV

I saw him inside the house, resting against a wall in a chair. He scratched at his face and took a swig of beer. My stomach turned at the sight. He sat there all high and mighty in his home, like nothing had happened. I felt my teeth poke at my lips. I had to strike soon. I had to end this. Whether it killed me or not.

Elsa's POV

It had been three days and I finally had some hope. I saw his tracks in the dirt. It lead up to a huge house. I felt my blood freeze inside my veins. Derek could be dead. I held my stance. I couldn't deal with that. Tears pricked at my eyes. I walked up the hill at a fast pace, hoping to find him. Alive.

When I reached the top I called out Derek's name quietly. "Derek? Derek where are you? Are you here?" I kept calling over and over, my voice becoming feble. Every time I called out, he didn't give me an answer. Was he even here?

Suddenly I was throw to the ground. I hit it hard, crying out with a scream.

"What are you doing here!"

It was Derek. Tears sprang to my eyes and I threw my arms around his neck. "Oh Derek! I thought you were dead! How could you leave like that!"

"I wanted to end this all Elsa. You know as much as I do that if we don't end this you'll die."

"You could have died alone you idiot!" I yelled, pulling him to me. I pulled his face to mine and kissed him deeply. I felt him react and he lifted me up.

"Should we take this to my tent?" He asked. I nodded rapidly and went back to kissing him as he walked us into the woods behind the house on the hill.

It wasn't long before I was naked on the cot he had inside his tent. I pulled him to me eagerly. I was so scared and so worried this whole time that all I knew was I needed him, in every way possible.

He felt amazing against my body. Like satin or silk. His warm hands ran down my sides, my legs, my back and arms. Every breath we breathed was hot and full of desire.

Once we reached the point of no return, I fell to his chest, holding him close. I begged him to never do that again and to be careful. We fell asleep like that, in each other's arms. Even though it was cool outside, it was perfect in his arms.

Derek's POV

She laid on my chest asleep. I stared at her, watching her chest rise and fall. This beautiful creature was my mate. I felt liberated by it. She was perfect. All I wanted was her safty. Which was why I shrugged her off and got up. I had to fight him. He had to be stopped. No matter what happened. She had to be safe.

I got dressed and raced off to find the man I wanted to kill

Elsa's POV

I felt like I was floating on thin air. Rocking back and forth against the waves of light. The waves of light that was Derek. I opened my eyes and stared up at him. My smile diminished Immedietly and I tried to scream.

I realized then that My hands and feet were duck tapped along with my mouth. The man holding me wasn't Derek but his father. I felt daja vu. I struggled in what little ways I could, but it wasn't enough to get me free.

"We have unfinished business darling." He said and dropped me on the hard ground. I cried out in pain and struggled to sit up.

"You got the girl. Good job. Let's get this over with." A woman said, pulling a knife from her dress.

"I'll get the chalace. You keep her still." Derek's father said staring at me. The girl pulled me up onto a tree stump by my hands. I kicked and screamed. That's when I realized I was going to die.

Derek's father came back and held a chalace, taking a knife from his pocket.

Derek's POV.

I knew something was wrong. I could feel it. Elsa was in trouble. I raced back to the tent. I didn't have to look inside to know she was gone. The tent was mauled and broken. He had her. And I knew it.

I raced to his house and broke down the door. He had to be here somewhere. He had her somewhere. I destroyed the place looking for a secret area, anything to help me find Elsa. But there was nothing. I went outside and howled loudly. In a fit of rage, I ran. I ran into the woods and didn't stop.

About am hour later I froze. There was Elsa's necklace on the ground. She was close.

Elsa's POV

My wings were exposed. And so was my body. I was strapped down against a large tree stump in the middle of the woods. I was in only a bra and panties. I pulled against the tight ropes.

"There's no use struggling. You'll only hurt yourself." The woman said. Pulling the knife out again. "In five more minutes, you'll be dead. Everything will work out once we have your powers."

I pulled harder screaming, now that the tape was removed from my lips. I sat there, confined for what felt like forever. Soon, it was time.

"Enna, militia o nakoria. Marichi lo. Enna coribemd." They chanted. Over and over theses same words. Clouds filled the sky and rain poured over head. The woman got above me, holding the knife at hand.

"Get away from her!"

Derek.

"Derek help!" I screamed.

Derek's father walked off, grabbing a knife. The woman above me continued to chant, ignoring Derek's presence. I tilled my head over, watching them intently. Derek lunged at his father with full force and my heartbeat accelerated. They fought and fought. Derek turned into wolf form, and his father followed. They bit at each other, drawling blood.

After a long time, I realized that Derek had won, and the father was dead.

"Elsa I. Gunna get you!"

Just as the words exited his mouth, the knife plunged into my chest. I gasped, and Derek started screaming. I laid there, feeling dizzy. I felt the moan fly off of my body. I knew Derek was killing her. I couldn't move. I choked on air, gasping for breaths. I felt pressure at my wrists and my ankles.

"Elsa no," Derek cried, pulling my body into his lap. "Baby no. Please, hold on."

Blood came up from my mouth. I was dying. I reached up and touched his face.

"I. Lov - Love you. Always... Have. Derek." I cried. "Keep. Them. Safe."

"Elsa I love you more than life. Elsa please don't leave me."

The light got very bright, and I slipped into it.

Derek's POV

"Elsa I love you more than life. Elsa please don't leave me."

She smiled softly at me and I cried. She couldn't leave. She couldn't die. No. Her hand fell from my face, and fell against the tree stump. Her eyes closed, and she stopped breathing. I pulled her to my body crying. My love. Was gone. She was dead for real this time. There was nothing left for my angel. I carried her into the woods, crying the whole way. I found a nice spot by the river, in a meadow full of daisies. I laid her on the ground and dug a rectangular hole. I placed her body inside. After I kissed her cold lips one last time. I buried her body and placed flowers all around her.

I stared down at the ground, tears falling. I didn't save her. I let her die. I turned away and walked off. I didn't know where I was going. Or what I was going to do. But the whole way, all I could hear her say inside my head, was, Save Me.
