 PERSONAL IMAGINE

NOT THE SAME

Lonely, I sit on a little bench in the Hyde Park. Today, it is really sunny and warm, creating a lovely spring day, making every hungry for summer even though it still takes a  bit of time until we finally have a hint of a real summer day.

Toddlers with parents, teenagers with their group of friends came out of their houses to enjoy the tingly sun on their skin, finally after months of wintry air and snow.

My eyes wander around and I see the little tree no one else probably recognizes under all those other trees. The tree is bigger to me than every other tree even though it is actually really thin. Exactly this tree holds so many painful memories that I wish I could chop it down.

My thoughts trail back to him, his incredible smile which caused me to smile as well, every single time, to his sparkling green eyes which I could stare at all day long, the sound of his laughter which was my favourite music, his gentle touch as we were wrapped into each others arms, his lips which were so soft, pressing delicate kisses to my body.

"Selena?" Marc, my boyfriend asks with a smile as he comes back with my son, waddling as he holds up his arms, "Are you okay? You're a bit...crying, love."

I quickly wiped away the tears from my cheeks as I gave him an insuring smile. "All right, I'm fine...just something were in my eye, I guess."

He takes place next to me on the bench, putting my son on his lap. I can already recognize the brown curls that are growing on his head as a mix of green-blue eyes stare at me. He looks so much like him it's like God wanted to punish and reward me at the same time.

My head snaps to the right side when I hear my name coming of someone else's lips, accompanied by a voice which was too familiar to my ears. I felt like throwing up and screaming of happiness at the same time. I wanted to jump off and embrace him but then again I wanted to slap him and take my family to escape from him at the same time.

"Harry." His name fell from lips in a small whisper. He flashes me his incredible dimpled smile. Marc leans a bit forward, grabbing my son a bit tighter as he eyes Harry.

"Is that him?" I hear him asking me and I nod. Immediately, his gaze hardens.

"Can I talk to you, Selena?" Harry's voice sounds desperate and I feel torn between Marc and Harry even though there is no choice.

"I won't leave if you don't want me to." Marc says but without taking my eyes from the beautiful man in front of me I told Marc to leave us alone. Unhappily, he leaves, taking my son with him to continue playing with him but I felt his eye on us the whole time.

"He has grown so much." Harry says and I know he is talking about our son.

"That usually happens when time passes."

 "A whole year, Selena."

 "I know."

"And you have already found someone else." Harry sighs, his gaze shifting back to me as he steps closer. I suddenly feel cornered. His intoxicating aura pulling me in, again.

"Do you blame me after what happened?"

Harry thinks for a second before he nods. "I do. You could have forgiven me and our son would grow up with his real father."

"I don't want someone around him who cheats, lies and betrays." I spit and I see the pain flashing through Harry's eyes.

"It was a mistake." Harry admits.
