Chapter twelve

"Mom!" Sara greeted her mother as she and Julia made their way into the house. "Mom this is Julia. She was the one who helped me when Dominique went or her rampage. Julia this is my mother June."

"Nice to meet you. Sara has told me so much about you." Julia said.

"Well I hope all was good." Sara's mom replied.

They headed to into the house where Sara's dad, Giovanni, greeted them with smiles.

"Who is this lovely young lady?" Sara's dad asked looking at Julia.

"This is Julia, she's the one who took care of me after the whole Dominique thing."

Giovanni smiled and thanked Julia for helping his little girl. After a your of their home Giovanni took Julia to the side.

"Julia, how can I ever repay you for helping Sara. She has spent years trying to get away from that woman and..."

Julia cut him off before he went into detail.

"Mr. Jones, it was nothing. I don't want anything in return. Sara is a beautiful woman and she deserves a lot better."

Giovanni smiled and hugged Julia. They both made their way to the dining room where Sara's mom set the table.

"So Julia, tell us more about you. Sara has kept you a secret." June asked.

"Well I'm a partner at Deen and Parker. I love to cook and I'm an only child." Said Julia.

"What about your parents?" asked Giovanni

"My mother left when I was a child. My father raised me and gave me everything I could ever need."

"We would love to meet him, right Gio?'

"He died a few years ago."

"I'm sorry." replied June.

"It's ok you didn't know." Julia said with a friendly smile.

They finished dinner and said goodbye to Sara's parents. The ride home was filled with the laughter of the two women. Julia was excited to see what Sara was really like. she decided that she wanted to show her something.

"Hey, you wanna see something?"

"Sure." Sara said.
