Chapter Ninteen

Julia's head was throbbing. She tried getting up but was tied to a chair.

"Sara! Sara, baby answer me!" Julia screamed.

Julia heard footsteps.

"Whoever you are, I'm going to kill you! Where's Sara?!"

"Now darling, that's no way to talk to your mother is it? I gave you life."

Julia felt tears flowing down her cheeks. "Where's Sara? Please, just let her go. I'll do anything. Ok? How much money do you need. Please!"

"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! All I wanted was for you to love me. I'm your mother and you treated me like dirt. Like some homeless person off the street! Now! You will call me mommy, like you always did."

"You're sick!" Julia spat.

"Hey! You are not gonna take that tone with me. Got it?!" Kathleen smacked Julia across her face.

"Yes."

"Yes what?"

"Yes mo-mommy." those words tasted like shit rolling off of Julia's tongue.

"Good, that's momma's little angel."

Kathleen walked out of the room slamming the door shut. Julia heard her walking around.

"What is she looking for?" Julia thought.

The ocean waves filled the dark room and Julia was getting worried. Kathleen hasn't said a thing about Sara. Where she was or what might have happened to her. Julia starred to cry. "I have to get out of here" she thought.

Julia hopped in the chair towards the patio doors. "Damn!" They were locked. Julia then hopped to the closet.

"Where is it? Where the hell is it?" Julia whispered. She found it! Julia took a giant machete she kept hidden and cut the ropes off her feet.

As she looked down, she noticed that Sara's work shoes were gone still. Then she remembered Sara carpooled with a friend. Her heart was at ease, but she still had to get out.

"Julia! Julia! Where are you, sweetie? Mommy has a surprise for you!"

Kathleen made her way to the closet. "I know you're in here. Why do you always hide from me? It's mommy. Open the door."

Kathleen pull the door opened. "Shit!" her face met the heel is Julia's shoes. Julia stood, arms still tied to the chair. She swung hitting Kathleen breaking the chair, freeing her hands too.

Kathleen grabbed Julia's leg pulling her to the ground. She rolled on top of her, wrapping her hands around her neck.

"You wanna be a bad girl?! well this is what happens to little girls that disobey mommy."

Kathleen gripped tighter. Julia was turning purple in the face. Julia look to the right and saw a leg of the chair. She grabbed it knocking Kathleen across the head. She got up and ran to her cellphone, calling the police.

Sara's friend Kelly turned down the street.

"Sara looks like the police are at your house."

Sara's first thought was Dominique got to Julia. "Stop the car."

Sara got out and walked to the front door.

"Ma'am you can't go in there."

"I live here. Where's Julia?" Sara's voice filled with fear.

"I'm right here."

Sara turned and saw Julia. she was covered in blood. Her pants were ripped and her legs looked cut. Her mouth was covered in blood and her eyes almost swollen shut. Sara ran to Julia.

"Baby, what happen?"

"Kathleen."

Sara wrapped Julia in her arms holding her tight. "I thought I lost you." She kissed Julia's head.

Wow. Hope you all like this. I know I've been M.I.A but I am back. I'm most likely gonna do another time jump to end this story sooner. But I have more ideas.
