The door flew open and there she was just as Julia had thought.

"Hey sweetie." Kathleen said as she sat down in front of Julia.

"Please don't call me that." Julia's tone had changed. It was less hateful.

"Fine, whatever you say."

Julia was ready for this to end. She was ready to let go as she had so long ago. She wanted her life back to normal.

"Why are you here?"

"I need to ask you something."

Julia knew it. She wanted money.

"How much?"

"What?" Kathleen said confused by Julia's question.

"How much money do I need to give you?"

Kathleen stood up grabbing her belongings.

"I can't believe you. I don't want any of your money. I don't need your money. I came her to tell you," There was a long pause.

"Tell me what?" Julia said.

Kathleen walked to the door and turned back looking at Julia, "I'm sorry for leaving so long ago. I wasn't ready to be a mother."

Before Julia could say another word Kathleen was gone.

That night Julia drove home left thinking of the morning that left her speechless. Was she even telling the truth? Was it a trick to come back in her life? Julia pulled into the drive way. The lights were all on on the front. Sara must be cooking, Julia thought.

She walked up the path way opening the door. She saw something fling her way and blacked out.
