Julia sat up in the bed she now shared with Sara. She looked over her shoulder seeing how peaceful Sara lay, her body covered by the light gray silk sheets.

She looked at the clock, 3:15. Julia had trouble sleeping since her 'mother' attacked her. She and Sara had moved to a new home in hopes of putting it all behind them.

Julia slowly got out of bed trying not to wake Sara. She walked to the living room turning on the tv. 'I have to sleep sometime.' she said to herself, feeling her body relax. Her eyes got heavy, slowly they closed.

Sara opened her eyes wiping the night's sleep away. She stretched her arm feeling for Julia's warm body. Instead she felt the coolness of the sheets. She sat up, looking around the room. 'Where could she be?' Sara got out of bed slipping on a t-shirt and shorts.

As she walked into the living room she spotted a sleep deprived Julia finally getting some rest. She walked pass her, not wanting to wake her. Sara walked to the kitchen and snuck out the back door forgetting her shoes. She got into her carpooling off slowly.

About an hour and a half she was back home, she made her way back to the back door. She sat the food she had gotten in the table. She walked back to the living room, where Julia still slept peacefully.

'This is it Sara. Do it now or you may never get the courage again.' Sara thought walking to the bedroom. She went to the night stand and got a black velvet box. 'You can you this.' she said getting her courage back up.

As she turned the corner to living room she saw Julia awakening. "Babe, hold on. Don't move."

Julia stiffened "Why, what's on me?"

Sara made her way to kneel in front of Julia.

"Julia Lennon. You are the most amazing woman I've ever met. You have the ability to be tough and badass, yet you care so much for others. At times putting them before yourself. You are a bit much at times but I love that about you. You have made me the happiest woman on Earth if not the galaxy. I want you to know everyday I spend with you, my love grows. I never thought I'd say this," Sara took out the box, a white gold ring with a medium sized diamond, gleamed from the sunlight. "Julia, will you do me the greatest honor of being my wife?"

Julia looked at the ring. She felt tears coming from her eyes. "Yes," she said nodding her head. "Yes! Yes! I will!"

Sara put the ring on Julia's finger. Julia stood, jumping with joy. "I have to call somebody!" Julia said not caring who it was, she just needed someone to know.

Julia ran to the back to the bedroom grabbing her phone calling any and everyone that was in her contacts. Sara went to the kitchen smiling as she set the table for the brunch she had planned.
