What if I couldn't speak
What if I couldn't eat
What if I couldn't move
Would you still love me?
What if my body ached
And I always made you late

What if I couldn't wait
Would you still love me?
Would you love me when it's hard
And our life's fallen apart
If the things that we once knew are long gone
If our blue skies turn to grey
And my memory fades away

Would you still love me?
Would you still love me?
What if I'm complicated
Always leaving you frustrated
Nothing ever went quite right
Would you still love me?

"Stop glaring at the ground, Zachary. Lighten up." I hear Shane's voice. I raise my head and glare at him instead. I know I was being moody and rude but this asshole had dragged me from my bed to this boring frat party. I don't know half the people here but the main reason I didn't want to get out of my flat was because of her. . . Amelia.

Shane stands next to me, bobbing his head to the beat, his eyes scanning the dancing crowd. He squints and takes a big gulp of his beer. "Isn't that Jenna's little sister?" He points at the girl standing in the corner talking to another girl. I look more closely and see the familiar face. Her hair is hanging loosely around her shoulders and I watch as she tilts her head back and laugh at something her friend says. My eyes run down her form and a surprised chuckle leaves my lips. Every time I've seen her on our family dinners, she's been wearing torn jeans and a plain shirt, and now here she's standing in a sexy as hell dress. It's purple and hugs her tightly, revealing her curves. I shake my head. Once. Twice.

"What are you doing?" Shane asks, looking at me with amusement.

"Nothing." I let out harsher than expected.

"Zachary." He sighs. "I know you're still thinking about Amelia, but come on, she was a real bitch. Forget about her." He says, getting straight to the point and what he says is nothing but the truth.

Amelia is a real bitch. But I didn't see that until I graduated high school years ago. We'd met during our sophomore year of high school. She'd been new to our school, all shy and smiles. It had taken my breath away. She was the first girl who had me feeling that way. She was so beautiful. Unfortunately she wasn't as beautiful on the inside. And apparently everybody saw it except me. And now she was bombarding my phone with desperate attempts of getting me to talk to her.

Hell no.

I snap out of my bitter memories when someone shouts from the distance. Looking around, I see Shane has moved on to dance with a brunette. I roll my eyes and lean back against the bar and take a sip of my beer. Kade McKay throws a party every year, has since highschool, only now most people here are legal. He's famous for his rebellious parties that goes on till the early mornings until the cops show up at the door.
