Bridget's POV

My Dad is at some author's convention all weekend so I am home alone. I have been writing my Lab Report for science all day. I was just finishing up the last paragraph when the doorbell rang. I groaned because I didn't feel like seeing anybody today.

I walked downstairs and opened the door to see Sam standing there.

"Sam what do you want?" I asked already getting annoyed

"Well hello to you too. Can we talk?" he asked

"No sorry I'm busy." I said trying to shut the door but he blocked it with his foot and walked inside.

"Oh sure just come on in." I mumbled under my breath closing the door

"Nice house." he said looking around

"How did you even know where I live?" I asked confused

"Jenny told me. Oh she also gave me your number too." he said smirking looking at the pictures on the wall. Oh I am so going to kill her later for this.

"Look I'm sorry about last night. I know I got drunk and high and I did stupid things. I told you I was coming back and I didn't. I'm sorry Bridget." he said actualling sounding apologetic

"It's fine." I said looking down at my feet

"So to make it up to you I am taking you out tonight." he said smiling wide

"And what makes you think I will go out with you?" I asked smirking

"I won't leave till you do. Or I can just start singing." he said singing our schools alma matter at the top of his lungs. I walked over to the couch and threw a pillow at him to get him to shut up.

"Ok I will go out with you just please stop my ears are bleeding." I said covering my ears

"Hey I am not that bad." he said offended

"Give me five minutes to change." I said running up the steps. I put on my dark denim skinny jeans, brown riding boots, and a white and mint green sweater. My hair was still pretty straight from last night so I just reparted it to the side and ran a brush through it. I touched up my makeup and grabbed my phone and walked downstairs.

"Ready to go?" he asked looking up from his phone. I nodded my head and followed him out to his car. He opened the door for me and hopped in.

"So what movies are out?" he asked keeping his eyes focused on the road

"Um Frozen." I said smirking

"We are not going to see Frozen. Pick a different one." he said turning up the radio lightly

"Fine I really want to see Endless Love." I said smirking even more now

"That chick flick? You have got to be kidding me." he said pulling into the movie theater parking lot. It wasn't too crowded for a Saturday afternoon.

We walked inside and Sam paid for our tickets and popcorn. I tried to protest but he said he always pays. We walked in the theater and sat in the middle. There was another teenage couple down in the front and an elderly couple a couple rows behind us. The movie started and I of course was really into it but Sam looked so bored the first 45 minutes. I looked over at him from the movie and actually took a good look at his face. He has really pretty eyes and the longest eyelashes ever. He really is attarctive.

"Why are you staring at me?" he asked smirking makingme blush. I was praying he couldn't see it since it was dark.

"No reason." I said turning my attention back towards the screen. He smiled and put his arm around my shoulder and surprisngly I didn't shake it off. It felt right for it to be there. I actually felt comfortable. After the movie we both decided on going out to eat at Red Robin.

We got there and ordered our food.

"So what is your family like?" he asked me taking a sip of his drink

"Well I have an older sister Lexi who is a junior in college. My parents got divorced two years ago. My Dad is an author and my mom is a teacher and is remarried to some stuck up CEO named Todd." I said rolling my eyes. Sam chuckled.

"I'm guessing you don't like Todd very much."

"No because my mom cheated on my dad with Todd. Plus he makes stupid comments." I said taking a sip of my drink

"I'm sorry that must stink. I live with my parents but I have two older sisters, and a older brother who are all in college." he explained

"Cool. Do you want to play basketball in college?" I asked him

"Yeah I do I think it will be fun. What do you want to be when you grow up?" he asked as our food arrived

"I want to be a writer just like my Dad. My sister is at school for nursing and my dad was sort of upset because she is a really good writer." I said taking a bite out of my chicken tenders

"Do you write lots of stories?" he asked

"Sort of. Ever since we were little my Dad had us keep a journal where we wrote all our thoughts and stuff down." I said shrugging my shoulders

I don't know why but for some reason he was really easy to talk to.

"How about you? What do you want to be when you grow up?" I asked him

"Not really sure yet. I'm leaning towards something in business though."

We talked a lot more about our families and stuff we like to do. Surprisngly we are similar in a lot of ways.

Now we are on our way back home and he has me playing this game where whatever song comes on the radio we both have to sing really loud at the top of our lungs. We are currently on our third song and I can't stop laughing because he is such a bad singer.

"You should really just stick to basketball." I said still cracking up

"Haha good idea. You should come to more of my games." he said looking at me

"Maybe I'll think about it." I said smirking at him but it quickly turned into a smile

"What would your friends do if they find out you saw Endless Love today?" I asked laughing

"Probaly kick my ass and call me a pussy." he said smiling. He pulled up and parked in my driveway.

"Well don't worry your secret is safe with me." I said smiling

"Well thanks for tonight. I actually had fun." I said

"Well thanks for coming I had fun too. Hey would you want to maybe go out with me again?" he asked nervously rubbing the back of his neck

"Yeah I would like that." I replied smiling at him. He broke into this huge grin.

"Really? Alright cool. I'll text you." he said still smiling

"Bye Sam." I said kissing his cheek and walking inside. I quickly started a group text with Angela, Tess, and Jenny letting them know what happened. Maybe Sam isn't such a bad guy afterall.
