Bridget's POV
Well it has been a month since the accident and I am all healed. Sam and I have been dating for four months now and we are still going strong. It is the time of month that everybody dreams about, prom. They always combine the junior and senior proms together but they make it looks so beautiful.
Junior girls have to wear short dresses and senior girls have to wear the long dresses. My sister is doing my hair and makeup for me. She curled my hair and then pulled it into a loose bun. Next she put on foundation, blush, shimmery eyeshadow, glitter eyeliner, mascara, and lip gloss. My dress is this sea foam green color that is strapless with a sweetheart neckline. It also has some jewels in the center. Lastly I put on my sliver, sparkly heels and I was ready to go.
"Oh I can't believe my baby sister is all grown up." Lexi said taking a picture of us
"Yeah pretty soon I will be graduating and at college." I said smiling
"Bridget Sam is here!" my Dad yelled from downstairs.
"Ready?" Lexi asked me. I smiled and nodded my head. I picked up my dress as I walked down the steps. I smiled at Sam whose expression was priceless. He was wearing a black tux with a sea foam green tie to match my dress.
"You look amazing. So beautiful." Sam whispered in my ear. I smiled and pecked his lips.
"Honey you look all grown up. I'm going to cry." my mom said tearing up
"Come here." I said laughing and pulling her in for a hug
We took a lot of pictures and then we went over to JJ's house to take more pictures.
"You know last year at prom I brought Erin as my date. She was fine at the dance but then at the after party she got wasted as shit. And I was left to take care of her, it sucked." he said shaking his head at the memory. I put my hand over his free one.
"Well I promise you it isn't going to be like that this year." I said as he smiled over at me
"Yeah I know. Because I got the most beautiful girl in the world as my date. And you keep it classy never trashy." he said laughing at his own dumb joke. We pulled into the parking lot and he helped me out. I laced our fingers together as we walked inside. All eyes were on us as we walked down the stairs.
"Well don't you two clean up nice." Big Mike told us
"Ha ha very funny." I said playfully rolling my eyes
I saw Jenny sitting alone at a table so I went over and sat down next to her.
"Why so glum friend?" I asked her trying to cheer her up
"Tess and I had a fight. You know she has been such a bitch lately ever since she got a boyfriend and OH MY GOD!" she yelled looking up at me
"What?" I asked startled
"You look amazing! Like holy shit you are gorgeous." she said laughing making me laugh too
"If it makes you feel any better Tess has been ignoring me too." I said shrugging
"Well we don't need her anyways." Jenny said getting up right as Luke came back with her drink
"Hey Jen. Hoes over bros?" I asked her smiling
"Buds over studs." she said laughing and pulling me in for a hug
"Hey I am standing right here!" Luke said laughing. We laughed and took a picture together.
"I want to dance with you so I can show you off." Sam said smirking and leading me to the dance floor
The song was Give me Love by Ed Sheeran. Sam and I just kept looking eachother in the eyes and I am utterly in love with this guy. And it is weird to think that four months ago I hated him for no reason.
"Sam I'm scared." I told him suddenly
"Why are you scared?" he asked confused
"Because in a month and a half we graduate right? Then we only have three months left till we both leave for college. You are going to Lincoln Nebraska and I am going to Chicago." I explained hoping he would catch my hint
"Bridge we are going to make it work I promise you. There is no other girl out there that I want. I love you so much and I do't ever want to loose you. I can't loose you. I was going to wait to give this to you after prom but I think now is the right time." he said opeing up a ring box to reveal a promise ring that is silver and has a circle design on the front.
"Read the inside." he said smiling even bigger
I turned it around to the inside and saw what was inside and I smiled and laughed. "I pick you." is what it says
"Sam it is beautiful thank you so much." I said bringing him into a hug
"No problem. This ring is to show that I will always love you and I will do anything to protect you." he said kissing the top of my head
"Always and Forever?" I asked him holding out my pinky finger
"Alyways and Forever." he said as we pinky promised
