Bridget's POV
Today Sam invited my mom, sister, Dad, and I all over for his dad's birthday party. Today is the day where I get to meet the rest of his family. I curled my hair with rollers today so the curls would be a little bigger. I applied blush, foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, and lip gloss. I am wearing light borwn riding boots, a tan colored corrder length sleeve dress, and a gold necklace. I put my phone in my brown purse and walked downstairs.
"Ok honest opinions how do I look?" I asked spinning around for them
"Really pretty!" my mom exclaimed
"Very sophisticated." my dad added
"I love your boots! They make your legs look longer!" Lexi exclaimed
We all hopped into the car and drove over. We got out and I grabbed Lexi's hand.
"Are you sure you are ready to see Ben?" I asked her
"It has been over a year Bridge. I have to face him sooner or later." she said as we walked up to the door. My Dad rang the doorbell and Mrs. Wilkinson answered the door.
"Bridget sweetie hi! Don't you look gorgeous!" she said bringing me in for a hug
"Thanks so do you! This is my mom, dad, and my older sister Lexi." I said introducing them
"Well it is very nice to meet you both. Lexi it is so good to see you again. Ben will be happy you are here. Come on in please." she said as we stepped inside
Sam came over to me and gave me a hug and a quick kiss.
"You look amazing." he whispered in my ear making me shiver
"Thanks and so do you." I said reaching up so I can fix his collar
He walked me around introducing me to his cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents. Lastly he took my hand and led me into his family room.
"Guys this is my girlfriend Bridget. Bridget that is my older brother Ben, and my two older sisters Emily and Annie." he said introducing all of us
"You are so pretty. It is so nice to meet you." Annie said getting up and giving me a hug
"Thanks so are both of you." I said as Emily gave me a hug
"I approve bro. Nice work." Ben said to Sam
"Oh and this is my older sister Lexi." I said as she walked into the room. You could feel the tension in the room.
"So that is why you looked so familar. You look exactly like Lex. How have you been?" Emily asked my sister bringing her in for a hug. Ben got up to say hello and soon him and Lexi walked off to go catch up.
"Do you want something to drink?" Sam asked me
"Yes please. A lemonade?" I asked smiling
"Sure be right back." he said kissing my temple
"So how long have you guys been dating for now?" Annie asked me
"A little over a month." I replied
"Wow this is the longest relationship he has ever had." Emily said shocked
"Really? Should I be worried?" I asked laughing
"No you see Sammy is like his older borhter Ben. Ben was never committed to relationships except for your sister. He isn't anymore because he took that breakup hard. Anyways Sam just has never been the relationship guy too. But thank you for changing him." Annie said chuckling
"Yeah well things are just different with him. I'm normally very shy and nerdy but he just brings out a different side in me." I said smiling and blushing like an idiot
"Aw you are so adorable. Hey I have an idea do you want to mess with him?" Emily asked us. We smiled and nodded. She told us the plan and we walked downstairs to the basement and shut off all the lights and hid behind the couch.
"Annie? Emily? Bridget? Are you guys down here?" we herd Sam yell. We herd footsteps going down the steps. Annie krept over towards the light switch.
"Boo!" we all yelled at the same time
"Jesus! You guys gave me a heart attack." he said. We all couldn't stop laughing. Emily high fived both of us.
"Wow already turning my girlfriend against me. I see how it is." he said handing me my drink but he quickly snatched it away
"Don't be rude." I said hitting him on the arm
"That was a mean trick you played." he said giving me puppy eyes. I playfully rolled my eyes.
"What can I do to make it better?" I asked sweetly
"A kiss?" he asked smirking. I smiled and leaned in and kissed him
"Ew get a room you two please." Emily said making gagging noises. We both just laughed and I nuzzled my head into Sam's chest embarrassed.
"I'm glad you came." he said to me
"Me too." I said kissing his nose
