I faced him covering my cut with my hand. Bobby's eyes looked at me and I saw no warmth in them. He reached for me as I stepped back.

"Bobby what are you doing?" I gasped fighting through the pain. The wound pulses with dark energy as he laughed.

"I'm doing what I was told," he growled as I noticed huge cuts on his wrists. The cuts didn't bleed like they should.

"Bobby, you can fight him," I whispered as Bobby smirked.

"You didn't even realize I died because you didn't come to graduation. I invited you but you were too busy with your boyfriend!" Bobby snapped anger filling his eyes. He reached for me again as I stepped to the side. I saw blood on my shirt, he must have reopened my wound. I cried out as he kicked my side. I tumbled to the ground as the dark power lashed out at me. Bobby rushed toward me gripping my throat. I struggled underneath him as he squeezed my neck. My lungs pleaded for air but I couldn't breath. My power filled me as the sword materialized in my hand. I plunged the sword into Bobby's stomach as his eyes widened in surprise. He released my throat looking down at the sword sticking out of his belly. He stood up as a sadness filled me. Bobby couldn't fight Hades and I hurt him. He fell to his knees before a white light filled the parking lot. I watched as Bobby's body vanished. My sword bounced off the asphalt with a bang. I got to my feet trying to hold back a whimper. I picked the sword up before getting into the car. I sped down the road as far from the library as I could get. I pulled over to inspect my cut. I gasped when I saw the darkness had faded slightly.

"What the hell," I muttered trying to figure out what I had done differently today. I continued to drive as I thought about the events of the day. I saw the sword in the rearview mirror. I carefully turned reaching over the seat. I kept my eyes on the road as I gripped the sword in my hand. I glanced down at the wound briefly. The black color faded the closer the sword got to the gash. I put the sword to my wound hissing in pain. I pulled the sword away from the cut. I looked the wound with a smile, no darkness. I faced the road again only to see a figure before me. I turned the wheel before I found myself upside down.

I groaned trying to unbuckle myself. The buckle jammed preventing me from getting out of the car. I looked around at the small pieces of glass trying to find a way to cut myself down. The sword hummed a few feet from me. I reached toward the handle my fingertips grazing the cold metal. The sword wobbled before I gripped the handle slicing through the strap. The figure approached the car slowly as I hit the roof of the car sending pain shooting through me. I rolled onto my knees crawling out the shattered driver's side window away from the man. I held the sword tightly as I got to my feet.

"Little Clarissa, how did you manage to beat my control?" Hades laughed from the shadows.

"Stay away from me!" I screamed squeezing my sword.

"Like you could beat me. You have Zeus's sword which is useless without him," Hades spat as I watched a fireball fly at me. I blocked the first with ease before a second burned into my right shoulder. I whimpered in pain before I ducked behind a dumpster. I heard two fireballs crash into the side of the dumpster along with Hades's laughter.

"Zeus," I whispered as I gripped the sword. "Give me strength." I jumped out from behind the dumpster taking a swing at Hades. I felt the sword dragged across Hades's side in a similar place as my own wound. I spun away from him quickly taking cover near my wrecked car. I gasped as my sword crackled with electricity. I had to find a way out of here, I couldn't beat Hades. I had power but not enough to defeat Hades. I looked at my ring from Derek before deciding I didn't want to hide anymore. I pushed myself up as Hades watched me with curiosity.

"You're a fighter. I can't wait to break you!" Hades smirked evilly. His sword materialized as I faced him. My fear faded away as I stared him down.

"You took everything from me!" I growled as Hades and I circled each other slowly. We watched each other move both of us looking for a weakness. "You took my life and the life I could have had by refusing to let me be with Derek. For that I will end you."

"You are out of time descendent of Fallon," he said coolly. I saw no fear in Hades's heartless gaze.

"Hades you are the one out of time," I snapped back as he took a swing at me in blind rage. His wild swing exposed his ribs. I turned left bringing the blade across his side. I faced Hades to see him touch his side for a moment before his facade slammed down. I let my anger add to my strength but I also didn't let my rage control me. I watched him as he glared at me. I gasped as he hurled another fireball at me. I pulled my sword up deflecting the flame. I felt an energy fill me before I held up my hand. Electricity danced across my skin before flying at Hades. He groaned as he rocketed through the air hitting the pavement with a thud.

"THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE!" Hades roared getting to his feet quickly. "YOU ARE JUST A STUPID HUMAN."

"Oh but I'm so much more," I said simply with a new confidence. When I first found out about Greek gods I was scared but now I had no fear of them. I faced Hades before an arm wrapped around me. His smell hit me first followed my a warm glow. I shut my eyes as I leaned back against Derek relaxing into his embrace. "Derek," I breathed.

"You have your orders," Hades said seconds before I felt the pain.
