I woke to a sweet melody filling my ears. I faced Sasha with a smile.

"What shall I wear to please Hades?" I asked her. She tossed me a red silk dress. I slipped the dress on quickly before pulling my hair down.

"He wishes to see you," Sasha said as I followed her through the Underworld. My breath hitched as Hades faced me. His blue gaze pulled me in.

"Hello my love," he said his hand caressing my cheek. "Sleep well?"

"Would have been better if you were there," I smiled basking in his attention.

"I'll make it up to you," he said as his hands wrapped around my waist. His lips trailed my jaw before reaching my neck. A small gasp escaped my lips as he smirked. His kiss felt cold but still I craved his touch. He gripped my hand leading me to another room. I stood in the room frozen. The walls covered floor to ceiling with weapons and armor.

"For me?" I asked as he laughed.

"Yes but I also got you this," Hades held up a beautiful necklace with a single black diamond hanging from the thin silver chain. He clipped the necklace around me as I blushed.

"Thank you," I said as he turned me toward him.

"Anything for you my love," he said though his emotions didn't reach his eyes. I didn't care that he didn't love me so long as he was happy. "Now show me what you can do with your magic."

"On who?" I asked as he took my hand teleporting us to Earth. I found myself standing in front of my childhood babysitter, Bella. A small smile played at my lips as a memory filled my mind.

"Clarissa," she called. I ran down the stairs to her. "Merry Christmas." She handed me a box which I ripped open quickly. I gasped to see the stuffed cat I admired in the store.

"Kitty!" I squealed giving the white cat a squeeze. I faced Bella before jumping into her arms. "Thanks Bella."

"You're welcome," her grey eyes sparkled. "Have a good holiday kiddo."

My face grew hard as a sweet melody filled me. I had to kill her.

"Clarissa, how did you get in here?" She asked as I looked at her. "What's the matter?"

"I," my words caught in my throat. My body argued with itself. I wanted to kill her but I loved her. I tried to apologize but my words failed me. I felt tears building in my eyes before the melody grew louder. I aimed at her blasting her with my full power. She died instantly as she crashed through the wall and onto the pavement.

"Very good my love," Hades said his lips pressing against mine. I walked with Hades toward the front door when I heard a baby crying. I froze as Hades kept walking. I turned toward the sound stepping into the nursery. I looked into the baby's grey eyes my heart breaking. I took Bella from her child. I had to protect the baby but how. Hades would ask me to kill the baby. For a moment I had absolute clarity. I took my ring from Derek off putting the ring on the baby before racing out the front door. I laced my fingers through Hades's hand. "What took you so long?"

"Making sure no one witnessed what happened," I lied easily. Hades draped his arm around me as we walked down the street. I felt a pair of eyes watching me. I froze looking around. I saw no one but I couldn't shake the feeling I was being followed.

"Now I think we should pay a little visit to Zeus," Hades said after a moment. "First we should change my love." Once in the Underworld I sprinted to my room. I pulled on black pants and a black tank top. I ran to the weapons room putting on a black metal breastplate with a small silver design on the front. I turned to find Hades. He handed me my sword and my whip. His lips caressed mine hungrily sending a chill through me. Hades held my hand before teleporting us and an army to a clearing. "Call him."

"With pleasure," I said before sending a beam of energy into the sky. I stood waiting but didn't have to wait for long. Derek, Zeus and an army of there own appeared a few yards away. Derek looked at me with teary eyes.

"Clarissa," Derek whispered before Hades smirked. He pulled me toward him his lips pressing against mine. The kiss deepened as Derek watched us. "Let her go!"

"Clarissa, do you want me to let you go?" Hades asked as I wrapped my arms around his neck clinging to him.

"No, I love you," I smiled before facing Derek.

"I have beaten you Zeus must we keep fighting?" Hades asked as I gripped my sword tightly. "Surrender to me and no more blood will be shed. Refuse and I'll destroy you all."

"Clarissa, this isn't you," Derek spoke his voice pleading with me. I looked at Derek unable to muster even a glimmer of emotion toward him. The only feature that stirred anything in me was his blue gaze but I associated that gaze with Hades. "Fight him."

"I love him," I snapped firmly as Hades laughed.

"Stupid boy. Don't you see what I tried to tell you? A descendant of Fallon will never stay faithful and you will only get heartache from loving her," Hades spat and I couldn't even get angry at his words because of my need to please him.

"I will never give up," Derek growled as Hades's smile faltered.

"End him," with those two words fighting broke out. A sweet song filled my ears fueling my rage. I rushed toward Derek swinging my sword at him. Derek blocked my sword his blue gaze bubbling with sadness.

"Clarissa," Derek yelled over the battle as I pushed against him. "I love you and I know you love me." Derek threw his sword away as confusion filled my body. Something was wrong...
