Marinette stared out into the night sky. Her homework was finally finished, but was her work really done? Of course not.

Hawkmoth may not have been creating akumas, but patrol needed to be done. She and Chat hadn't really discussed having a patrol, so she was just gonna keep an eye out.

She climbed up to her bed, making her way to the door of her balcony. She grabbed a thin blanket, and carried it out with her. The chilly breeze tickled her skin, sending slight shivers through her body.

She wrapped herself in the blanket, and sat down in a beach chair she had sitting out. It wasn't really the weather for this, but was for sure fitting nicely with the scenery.

Her blanket didn't quite block out the cold, but it was good enough since she wouldn't be out long.

She had taken a shower, and her hair was still wet.

She rubbed her eyes, and slowly felt herself dozing off.

The Next Day

*RINGGGG RINNNNGGG*

Marinette rubbed her heavy eyelids, her phone buzzing and beeping.

She picked it up out of her lap, dismissing her alarm.

She yawned, before realizing.....she was still outside.

Her nose was all stuffy, yet runny at the same time. She mentally facepalmed, while still internally grateful she had set her alarms for the week.

She pushed herself off of the chair, a headache making its way into her system. It was obvious she had gotten sick from being out in the cold. She shivered and climbed down to her bed. She coughed, her throat feeling a bit sore.

"Ughhh." she rubbed her temples, in attempt to sooth her sickness. She sniffled, grabbing her hairbrush from her desk.

She ran the brush through her almost completely dry hair. She brushed all the knots she could get out, though some were stubborn.

Tikki hazily flew from her drawer, which was left cracked open.

As soon as she saw Marinette, she knew exactly what happened.

"Oh goodness Mari!" Tikki flew over to her red nosed master. Though it was more like a friendship than a master and servant type thing.

"Hey Tikki." Marinette's voice was groggy.

"You fell asleep outside." Tikki stated, cuddling into Marinette's cheek.

"Yeah....I guess so." she coughed, Tikki having to get away, before she was coughed away.

"Oh Mari. Do you feel Okay?" Tikki asked, settling down on her desk.

"I'll be fine Tikki. Just a cold." She smiled gentley, her nose pink and a bit runny.

The small red creature quickly grabbed her a tissue.

"Thanks Tikki." she smiled, taking the tissue from her kwami, and blowing her nose.

She tossed the Kleenex into her trashcan with ease. Her aim had gotten so good over the years, she could've done it upside down and backwards.

She chuckled at the thought and continued getting ready for school.

She put on a big grey sweater and a pair of thick black leggings. She didn't want to risk getting any sicker.

She threw on some fuzzy socks and boots.

She fixed her hair into her pigtails, and did some light makeup.

Her mother was calling her from downstairs, So she made her way to the kitchen fast. Her bookbag hanging on her shoulders.
