"Oh fu-" Ladybug cursed under her breath.

Chat seemed to feel the same way, as he watched a young boy grow into what seemed like a transformer.

"We gotta get you to safety." Chat sighed and  jumped down to a lower building, sending another shot of pain through the girl in his arms.

She bit her lip to keep herself quiet, which wasn't too hard to do since the streets began to buzz loudly over any noise she made.

The citizens of Paris were so used to akuma attacks by now, that it was almost a normal thing to them.

It was unsettling and a bit depressing to think about.

Worrying everyday that you, or someone you know could slip into a mind-washed state, by just getting upset, like normal humans do.

You can't hope to be happy everyday.

Ladybug pulled herself back to the reality of the situation, which was fully set-in, but she was not fully prepared to face it.

She knew exactly what was going on, and it made her spite Hawkmoth a little bit more.

"Stay here m'lady." Chat carefully set her down, allowing her to prop herself against an ice cream cart, which she had grown quite familiar with over the years.

Andre did put up quite a chase with his ice cream stand sometimes, moving throughout the city day to day.

But that was besides the point.

Just as the leather covered boy was about to jump away, she caught a firm grip of his tail, tugging him backwards.

It hadn't been the first time she'd done that. It always seemed he was quick to rush into danger, always without a plan, never without determination. It was a blessing and a curse for the both of them.

"Slow down kitty. You can't fight him alone!!" She released his tail, standing up straighter, while still holding her leg up to keep her foot from touching the ground.

He looked at her with furrowed brows, cocking his head slightly at an angle.

"Well you sure can't fight him."

She raised her brows, before taking on offended expression.

The futuristic robot tumbling through the streets was nothing to her, she had fought off plenty of multi-colored maniacs in her day!!

Chat took in her expression, and let out a light chuckle.

"Oh come on, you know I didn't mean it like that.  I mean look at your foot!" he gestured to her ankle, which she had now felt going numb.

She blushed as she realized the problem, which she had almost forgotten about due to her sudden adrenaline rush. But she continued on with her offended act.

"Are you saying I can't beat that lump of metal?" She put a hand to her hip, raising her eyebrows in a competitive way.

"What no!" He answered, a bit taken aback by her sudden attitude change.

Just a minute ago she was quiet, almost shy.
But now, it was like he had flipped the card to the other side.

"You saying I can't fight?" She let go of the cart, now putting her weight on her good foot.

"Of course not!" he hesitantly reached out, scared she might become unbalanced and fall over.

She took that up as a competition too. Even if she really didn't want to.

"You think I can't stand ?!?!" she scoffed.

In all honesty, she felt like she were about to fall over crying in pain, but she couldn't admit that to him.
