I slept snuggled up into Kian and we woke around 10 the next morning. I kissed Kian's chest and looked up into his eyes. He kissed my head and he rubbed my arm.
"Morning beautiful." He said with a quite raspy voice. I smiled. "Morning babe." I said and sat up. "I really appreciate your parents letting me stay here." "It's no problem. Guess they see how much you mean to me and they can kinda see it's meant to be." I said. He nodded. "I really do think you're the one." He said. I smiled. "Maybe I am." I said.
We went down and I made Kian some waffles. He walked in and wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my neck softly. "You mean the world to me." He whispered in my ear. It sent chills down my spine. I smiled as he kissed my cheek. I put the waffles on a plate. "Here." I said and handed them to him. He nodded and took them. "Thank you." He walked to the table and ate. I smiled and cleaned up.
"So what's in your plans to do today?" I asked. "I thought maybe we could go exploring." He said. "Like where?" I asked. "I don't know. You live here." He said and laughed. "Maybe woodruff would be fun." I said. "Sounds kinda fun." He said. "Maybe cause there's plenty of dirt roads to explore." I said. "It's plenty of fun when you're with the right person you know." I said and he nodded. "Let's do it."
We got dressed and we drove down to woodruff and parked his drunk on an old dirt path. We got out and played tag. Kian kept chasing me and finally caught me and picked me up and twirled me around. He ran back to the truck and layed me in the bed of the tailgate and tickled me until my shrieks of laughter could be heard a mile away. He smiled as we messed around in the field the entire day.
Nightfall came sooner than expected and we grabbed a blanket front the backseat and layed it in the bed. We looked up at the stars and held hands with each other as we watched. "I couldn't ask for a more perfect day." He said. "Me too." "I really like it here. I think I will look for a house here." He said. "Really?" I asked. He nodded. "You expect me to go back to Cali without the girl I love?" He asked. "I figured you would." I said. "Never. I couldn't leave without you. Much less be without you. You're mine and that's all that matters." He said. I smiled.
I grabbed my phone and played Bebe Rexha Meant To Be. "I think this song really represents us." I said. He nodded. "You know we're meant to be just as much as I do don't you?" He asked. I nodded. "We should learn this and perform it together for a YouTube video." I said. "I'd love that." He said and smiled. I rolled onto him and layed my head on his chest and fell asleep, with his heartbeat as my lullaby
