Why Try?

Kian and I had been distant recently. We didn't spend as much time together as we used to. Kian had work and I had modeling and it just didn't match up like it used to. I was worried we were falling apart. I was scared I was losing him. I couldn't lose him. He was mine.

Kian and I had a date night set up on tonight and I was about to start getting ready when I got a text. "Hey babe Jc and I had something come up. Gotta cancel. Tomorrow for sure!" I couldn't believe he was canceling again. He'd done this so many times before I just couldn't believe it was happening again.

I was pissed so I just went out. I needed a drink and I knew Jai had alcohol so I drove to Jai's house and knocked on the door. Jai opened the door with sweatpants on and he was shirtless. "Hey baby sis. What's up?" "I need a drink." "You're eighteen. You're barely legal." "I don't care now get me a damn drink." He laughed and shrugged and walked to the kitchen.

He handed me a glass of wine. He sat down beside me with a glass for himself. "Now what's happened that makes you need wine?" "Kian and I barely get to have any romance time anymore. Like no date nights or anything. Now, when we have a date night planned, he cancels. I know if it was the first time I wouldn't be making a huge deal of it, but this, no joke, had to be like the eighth time."

Jai looked at me and sighed. "I'm sorry sissy. Hopefully he'll come to his senses." I nodded and drank my glass. Jai and I kept talking for a long time and glasses of wine were drank. I hadn't kept count of the glasses that I had drank and soon I was drunk as hell.

Jai drove me home in my car and helped me inside. "Where's she been all damn night!?" I heard Kian yell. "She was upset because you cancelled on her again. She came over and needed a drink and she got a bit too much in her system." Kian was angry at first but walked over to me and picked me up.

"Thank you. If you need a ride home I can get her friend to take you home." Jai nodded and Ivan took him home. Kian helped me upstairs and layed me down. "Babe I'm sorry I cancelled on you again. I should've kept my promise. I know you're like unconscious because of all the alcohol but I needed a night out with Jc and I just I don't know. I should've had a date with you instead. You mean more to me anyway."

I heard everything he said even though I was passed out. It pissed me off to know that he was with Jc. He'd been with him so much lately and especially all for a bar night!? Hell no this was not gonna fly. I couldn't believe what he'd put me through tonight. But he won't hear the end of it when I wake up
