Will You?

Kian had done a video with his friend Sam a while back. It was a video of them lip syncing to "Marry You." by Bruno Mars. Sam insisted that they recreate it, but include me. I didn't see the reason why they should include me, but they did so why not? I was honestly kind of excited to film it. Kian seemed really happy that I was gonna film it with them and that made me even more ecstatic.

Kian drove us to Sam's house an hour or so later. We got there and they set up all the cameras and I helped them write down the lyrics on boards and fix the last finishing touches. The video looked amazing and we hadn't even filmed it yet.

We filmed for the video and had a lot of fun filming. They had me finish the song and as soon as I finished my part, I figured Sam would stop the camera. I stood there, fiddling with the hem of my dress, wondering why Sam hadn't turned the camera off. If this was some sort of prank Kian had set up, he was dead meat. I just couldn't figure out why the camera was still rolling.

A few seconds passed that felt like hours and Kian walked over to me with one hand behind his back. I bit my lip, not knowing what was behind his back or what to do. Kian walked ever so slowly towards me and stared deeply into my eyes as he came closer. This was a side of Kian that rarely made an appearance. A serious Kian.

I watched closely as he soon bent down on one knee and my mind began to swirl. I was speechless as he began to speak. "Oh Madison, you truly don't know how long I've waited to ask you this burning question. I could never figure out exactly how to ask you this and now I have. The only purpose of filming this was so I could finally ask you the most important question I'll have ask anyone. Now before you fall asleep from my boring spiel, Madison Nicole Tomaszewski, will you do me the ever-lasting honor, and marry me?"

My breath hitched in my throat as I desperately struggled to say yes. I frantically nodded and a wide smile appeared across Kian's face as he slid the ring onto my finger. A tear slipped down my cheek as Kian lifted me into the air in a tight hug.He pressed a sweet and passionate kiss on my lips. I squealed as he twirled me in the air and then set me back onto the ground. "I'd be lying if I said I wasn't the happiest man on the face of the entire planet." I blushed at his words and smiled into my shoulder. "Well I would be lying if I said that I wasn't the happiest woman on the face of the planet."

The laughter and smiles never stopped on the ride home. Kian kept our hands intertwined and smiled as I turned the radio up loud and danced and sang along. His laughter constantly filled the air as I danced around like a fool in the car. "Don't you know baby, only fools stick around when the love is all gone?" I belted and danced as the song by Madison Beer blasted through the stereo. I shook my head around like crazy as Kian kept laughing at my crazy antics. "God I swear they don't make em any cuter." I giggled and kept dancing to the infectious beat.

We got home after about forty-five minutes. We both looked into each others' eyes as he parked the car and yelled, "Mario Kart marathon!" We ran inside and I immediately put some popcorn in the microwave as Kian grabbed candy and sodas. We both ran into the living room and jumped onto the couch and turned on the console. I tossed him a controller and prepared for the countless hours of video games that were ahead. He grabbed my hand and kissed the ring and pulled me into his lap as we started the game. Once again we looked in each others' eyes and said at the same time, "32 races." If this man wasn't my soulmate then my soulmate didn't exist. People say true love doesn't exist, but I promise you, it truly does.
