Oh shit, I think I am in serious trouble now. As I shake off Tadanori, I run to catch up with Nagisa, but he's gone. I grab my phone an call him, but he just hangs up. How am I going to explain this...shit Rei think. As I stand there looking side to side I can't for the life of me think where he could have gone. Really now Rei, you've gone and done it this time. I mumble to myself as my feet walk their own path. Before I know it, I am at the spot where we spent our Sunday. As I look at the sun, it feels as though my heart is going to break into a million pieces. Then I hear it, soft sobbing and I know it's Gisa.
I walk around the rock slowly and see him with his head on his knees.
"Nagi, do you think we can talk please?" I beg, but he ignores me.
I move closer slowly, but he doesn't move. The moment I am right next to him, I crouch down and touch his arm, but he pulls away, turns and looks me straight in the eye, not saying one word.
"Nagi, please just say something, scream at me I you have to." I beg him, but what he does shocks me, he socks me straight in the nose.
"HOW COULD YOU REI. I THOUGHT WE HA SOMETHING SPECIAL.?" He screams at me and the hurt in his voice is like piercing a million daggers through my heart.
"I am so so so sorry Nagisa, I never thought he would do something like that and I was so shocked, my mind took a while to realize what was going on and the moment I pushed him away, I heard you. How am I ever going to make this up or say sorry enough. Just tell me what to do please Gisa, I beg of you." I plea, but he just keeps staring at me.
"I just need you to leave me alone for a bit. I heard your apology, but I really don't want to see you." He says honestly and even though the tears stream down both our faces, I know that just a simple sorry won't fix this mess I have made.
I stand to leave, but feel Nagisa tugging at my hand.
"Rei, just remember that I really do love you and that will never change." He smiles through his tears, but the lump in my throat and the tears coming down my face doesn't allow me to talk, so I just nod and turn to leave.
I really do love you Nagisa, with all my heart.
