"Are we home yet?" I groaned, pressing my cheek against the cool window of Leon's car.

"You're not going home, love. You're coming to my house," he told me, flashing a knowing smirk at me.

"What about my dad?" I questioned, narrowing my eyes.

"I texted your dad telling him you're crashing at a friend's house," he replied, waving a dismissive hand at me.

"And he believed you?" I pressed. My eyes weren't narrowed anymore, though, because that made my head hurt.

"Why wouldn't he? You're a good child," Leon shrugged, turning his car into his driveway. As he turned off the car, the lights flickered off too, leaving just his eyes illuminated in the dim lights of the dashboard.

"And what are we going to be doing at your house?" I asked, raising a suspicious eyebrow.

"Whatever you want."
