Chapter 12- Miles Away

Luke's birthday had went by quite quickly and I couldn't help but smile as I recalled the events of yesterday. I was so confused about what I had allowed to almost happen with Luke though. I couldn't shake the thought out of my head. I mean, I'm not even single yet I allowed myself to Make out with some guy. Granted, Luke was amazing but I had only known him for a week which clearly showed how bad this actually was. Maybe I'm just over thinking it right? Maybe.

It was now Wednesday and I was still at the boy's house. I had woken up quite early so I opted to do some thinking while I laid in bed. Ashton had insisted that I sleep with him that night and I couldn't help but comply. Luke had also offered for me to sleep with him but I chose not to considering what happened the last time we were alone in a room together.

Turning over I smiled softly at the sight of Ashton's sleeping form. He was on his side facing me with one hand tucked under his cheek and the other spread out toward me. His hair was a complete mess of curls and his lips were slightly parted. Closing my eyes I sighed to myself. How the hell had I managed to have all this happen to me in around the space of a little over a week. What even is this? Literally I'm waking up in the morning next to Ashton Irwin when just the day before I was waking up next to Luke Hemmings. Of course, it didn't actually mean anything considering we were all just friends but still I can't help but think about how much they've actually managed to distract me from everything that's been going on in my life lately and for that I was grateful.

I quickly opened my eyes when I heard Ashton groaning and smiled when he opened his, which were immediately met with mine. "Hey" Smiling, he yawned before stretching and looking at me once more. I still had to give him his gift and I immediately decided that I wouldn't do that just yet. Something just didn't feel right about doing it right now so I decided to do it when the time felt right.

"You do realize you were just zoning out right?" Ashton said between chuckles and I couldn't help but crack a smile. "I was not!" I defended feigning hurt and failing at it.

"You were!" Ashton shouted while laughing even harder. Frowning I sat up and folded my legs proceeding to do the same with my arms, I pouted at him. "Aw Dani don't give me that look!" Groaning he hid his face but , peaked at me through his fingers. "What look?" Giving him a confused look I made no move to remove the pout from my face and continued staring at him.

"So what's the deal with you and the boyfriend?" He asked, completely out of no where. My pout quickly vanished and was replaced with a frown. Even I didn't know what the deal between Andrew and I was I mean I honestly had no idea what was going on between us. We were still together that much was established but, we definitely needed to talk in person.

"Well I don't know I mean we haven't officially ended things and well I actually don't know what's up with us" Sighing I leaned back and sat up beside where Ashton was laid. "Do you actually want to end things with him though?" Giving me a confused look he too sat up and we just stared at each other. Shaking my head I frowned; Did I want to end things with him? Andrew and I had so much history and it felt kind of wrong to just break up. Three weeks ago things were great with us and mean I had no reason to break up with him considering he did nothing wrong.

"He did nothing wrong you know? I mean I moved and just a few weeks ago we were great so on what grounds am I actually breaking up with him..?" Giving me a frustrated look Ashton grabbed my wrist and waved it in my face."You're kidding right? Look at your fucking hand! If that isn't reason enough then I don't know what is plus, aren't relationships are about trust? He actually came here because he thought you and I were fucking" Well..he had a point Andrew clearly had little or maybe no trust in me I mean he actually came here cause he thought I was cheating on him with Ashton. 'But, you cheated on him with Luke' Sneered my subconscious.
