Chapter 13- Amnesia

It's been a week since I've seen the boys and I'd definitely be lying if I said that I wasn't having some weird sort of withdrawal from them. My week was pretty good though, dad took me to work with him which was actually more fun than it sounds. His office was massive and had the most beautiful view of the city of Angels I could tell that I'd never get over that view. After work we had some father daughter bonding which was very enlightening considering I haven't spent much time with my dad since he left Sydney. Oh yeah.. I sorta hated him oops..

Everything seemed to be falling into place in my life and I couldn't be more grateful about that. Of course, nothing is gonna be the same anymore after losing mum but, I never expected things to actually be this great in LA. I never loved the idea of staying with my dad but clearly I didn't know what I was missing out on. Staring at the golden charm bracelet that my mum had given to be I sighed before closing my eyes. 'I wish you were here'I whispered before wiping a tear which had involuntarily rolled down my cheeks. Shaking my head I got up and grabbed my phone, deciding that I would go for a jog I quickly slipped on my pair of Nike's before jogging out the door.

Unlocking my phone I smiled when I noticed messages from Michael , Calum, Ashton and Luke.

Mikey:"Cook for me when we get back D:" Laughing I quickly typed back a reply before clicking on the messages from the other guys.

Calum:"Next time we come to London I'm dragging you with me. Miss u!" Me:"Never been to London but.. wait who said I'd even want to spend any time with you..um.." Calum:"Shut the fuck up and just tell me that you miss me too" Snorting I typed back a reply and proceeded to check my other messages.

Luke:"What's up?" Oh Lucas ..rolling my eyes at his very uncreative message as compared to the other guys I smiled before telling him that I had gone jogging.

Ashton:"Miss you loads! I'll see you tomorrow though definitely looking forward to that. Got something to ask you. I'll see you tomorrowXx" Furrowing my eyebrows I locked my phone and began my jog. Why did he have to tell me that he had something to ask me ..I would've been perfectly content with him not telling me considering the fact that now I'm wrecking my brain trying to figure out what it is. I really hate when people do that. They tell you something yet they don't it's like what game are you playing?

"Dani!" Turning my head I broke into a grin when I was met with a very tall blond, Chelsea. I met Chelsea and a few of her friends at the beach 3 days ago and we hadn't stop talking ever since. She was loads of fun and I couldn't help but be drawn to her.

"I know you're Australian and all but oh my God do you have to like run that fast?" Bending over a bit she held her sides while trying to regain her breath. "What does me being Australian have to do with my running skills..?" Giving her a confused look I let out a laugh when a look of utter disbelief masked her face. "Um cause kangaroos run fast duh" She said in a matter-of-fact tone. Shaking my head at her I chuckled before continuing with my jog.

"Tell me you're free tonight" Glancing at her I took my earphones out before slowing down so that we could actually have a proper conversation. "I'm free tonight" A grin erupted on her face and you would have sworn that she had just found out that Channing Tatum was gonna do a private strip tease for her. Okay..maybe I'm overexerting if that had happened she would've probably fainted.

"Good! You are coming to this party with me tonight and I am so not taking no for an answer" Giving me a look she glared at me when I was about to open my mouth and I sighed coming to a stop I groaned,"Chels can't you just go without me? Besides I have absolutely nothing to wear." That excuse seemed legit ..Yup let's go with that. I was in no mood to party tonight or ever in the near future.

"You're kidding right?" Snorting she flipped her hair before laughing once more,"You're Danielle Jeffries do you not hear your last name? Do you not see the house you live in and babe please I've seen your closet so don't go there" Rolling my eyes I folded my arms before sighing,"Fine" Squealing she hugged me before doing a little mini dance,"Great! I'll pick you up at 10 okay! Wear something sexy" Winking at me she jogged off in the opposite direction and I was left to wallow in regret.
