"Mom! Have you seen my black blazer?" I yelled out from my bedroom.

"Which black blazer?" She yelled back from the living room where I could hear cartoons playing on the television.

"You know, my lucky one. I need to wear it to the interview at the Times."

For the past three years I had been working as the editor at the Stars Hallow Gazette while continuing to put out freelance articles at Conde Nast when they called on her. When I had found out I was pregnant I didn't know what I was going to do. I picked up my phone multiple times to call Logan and tell him but I could never muster us the courage to actually do it. I decided to keep the baby and raise it like my mom did with me.

"Mom, I'm not joking! I need it now or I'm going to be late." I said walking out of my room. Logan was sitting in front of the television watching cartoons, while eating a bowl of sugar masking as cereal.

Every time I looked at her I saw her father. That's why I named her after him. When they handed her over to me, wrapped in a soft pink blanket, in the hospital I was overwhelmed by how much of him was in her. I held off one choosing a name because I wanted it to fit, and it did. I barely saw any of me. All I could think about was calling him again. but at this point I knew he would never forgive me for keeping it from him all this time. Plus, he had Odette now.

"Okay. It's up in my closet." Lorelei said taking cover behind a pillow.

"Again?" I said, crossing my arms.

"What can I say?" She laughed, "It goes well with that blue top of mine."

I made my way up the stairs and into her room, pulling my blazer out of her closet. I slipped it on while I made my way back down the stairs.

"Wow mommy! You look pretty." Logan said looking away from her show.

"Thank you baby." I replied, planting a kiss on to of her head. "Now grandma is going to watch you. Mommy has to go into the city for a little bit, but I'll be back soon."

"Okay." She said, and went back to her cartoons.

"We'll be good kid. You just go get that job. " Mom said with a wink.

"Okay, I'm going." I said, holding my hands up and retreating back.

I grabbed my portfolio off the table, sticking it in my pink Birkin bag, and coat off the hook by the door and made my way outside. It was winter and snow covered the ground. I jumped in the car and turned cranked up the heat as I pulled away from the house.

I pulled into the underground parking structure, pulling the validation ticket from the machine before continuing. Once parked I grabbed my bag, and stepped out of the car, smoothing out my pencil dress. I made my way to the elevator and headed for the lobby.

An hour later I was handing my visitor pass back to security behind the desk.

"Thanks. If you don't mind my asking, where might I find a cup of coffee?" I asked.

"Not at all. The closest place is going to be located outside and to the left on the corner." He said as he pointed at the doors.

"Thank you." I replied with a pleasant smile before turning and making my way outside.

I could see the coffee cart from the steps of the building and made my way to the cart while looking inside my bag for my wallet.

"What can I get for you." The guy behind the cart asked.

"Just a large coffee with room for cream." I replied, opening my wallet and as I did the lose change fell out of the zipper pocket. "Great." I continued with a sigh as I started to pick it up.

As I was picking up the coins a second pair of hands started to help me pick them up. Without looking up I said, "Thank you, I'm just a klutz--", and as I looked up the words stopped, everything stopped. Before me was none other than Logan Huntzberger, my Logan, the Logan who I said goodbye to three years ago. He still looked as good as I remembered him, no, better then I remembered him.

"You know. If we didn't already know each other this would definitely qualify as a cute meet." He said flashing his brilliant white smile at me.
