She laughed. "Ok, ok. It don't matter though Im still in the lead."

"You just like 4 spaces in front of me. My turn." I took the dice and rolled. "Ayeee 6. Don't mind if I do." I moved up 6 spaces, pushing her piece out of the way as I did.

"Hey!" She yelled.

"Wassup. And be quiet, those monsters might here you." I said.

Jada and I currently playing Monopoly. We decided to share a room because ain't no telling when one of them gone come up on us. Them as in our parents.

"Oh yeah, right." She whispered. She rolled the dice and it landed on 2.

"Aha." I teased her.

She moved to to and landed on one of the houses I brought.

"Double aha, pay up." I held my hand out and she gave me150 dollars.

"Im getting paid, I can make it rain." I said.

"You wanna make it rain? Let's make it rain." She smiled. Getting her $40 ready. See, I had like $500. She in that chump change. I threw all my money our and watched it rain, Jada the hers on with mine.

"Ayeee" She said.

"Girl, you still not on this level." I said as she picked up the money and put it back in the monopoly game. When she was done she put the game in the closet on the top shelf.

"Ughh, Ion wanna stay here no more." She said.

"Told you not to come back, but nahh, don't listen to Lesane, he stupid ass fuck. Right? Yeah." I said.

"Boy." She rolled her eyes.

"Girl." I said.

"I feel like I'm in jail." She sighed.

"Trust me, this aint nothing like jail. Nothing."

"Ye-"

"Jada! Lesane!" Jada mama yelled from downstairs. We slowly walked downstairs.

"Mhm?" I asked.

"Excuse me??" She said.

"Ma'am??" Jada sighed.

"I need yall to run to the store for me." She handed Jada a long list of things and a credit card. "Go on now, bye. Don't try to go no where because there's a racket on your phone."

"Okay." Jada mumbled.

We went up and grabbed out shoes than I grabbed my keys and we got in my truck and left. I drove to the supermarket and we shopped there. Jada got in the cart and I drove her around the store, putting all the shit they wanted in the cart.

"Damn, why they need all this stuff?" She asked.

"Probably wanna make a soup to kill us with." I said.

"That's what I was thinking." She sighed. "I wanna go to grandpa's house. Wanna go?"

"Yeahhh, I ain't seen 'G in a while." I answered.

After getting all this crap we went and checked out, put all the stuff in the trunk then left. On our way to G's house. It took us some time but we got there. We walked inside and shut the door. G came downstairs and hugged Jada tightly. I kind ah stood to the side a little.

"I missed you grandpa." I said.

"I missed you too." He said.

He let go of me and pulled Lesane into a hug. Lesane looked surprised but he hugged him back.

"Hey boy, you can't speak?" Grandpa smiled.

"I ain't know."Lesane said.

"Well were kinda like family now, especially since you gonna be grandson-in-law in a few years." He said.

"What you taking bout?" Lesane asked.

I was about to say YES. But damn, she interrupted me. I was talking first, let me finish!!

I hate rude people, I know I'm rude but not all the time -_-.

We stayed for about 2 more hours and then it was time to go. I said bye to G and then we left.

"Y'know I was gone speak up and say YES when G asked if we was gettin married." I said as she drove.

"Well, we don't even date, soo. How the hell are we getting married? Exactly." She said.

"Well how you know we not gone date again? Exactly."

"I know because I'M the person who chooses to say YES or no right? And I dont recall saying yes. Exactly." She said.

"Man 'exactly' my ass." I said.

"Why are you mad? Because I said we wasnt getting married?? It's not even that serious, we 17, & I'm older than you! I can make my own decisions."

"You older than me by a few months." I said.

She ain't say nothing, she continued driving and when we got to my house she got out, got the groceries and threw them in the kitchen.

"Don't throw stuff in my house little girl!" My mama yelled as she Jada walked upstairs.

"I'm 17 I ain't no little girl." She said.
