"Awh come one it could be fun!"

"No no and for the last time no."

You had been attempting to bribe the Winchester brothers to tag along with you to a carnival that was in town - to which Dean joked about how the last carnival they went to a clown was there and Sam almost cried.

You folded your arms across your chest and pouted.

"Pleease." You whined. You tried your best to give them your puppy dog eyes but there was no reaction for either of them.

"Sorry (Y/N) but Sammy over there," He pointed to the moose who sat on the edge of his bed with the fork that had a piece of pie attached to it. "Is the king of puppy dog eyes."

"And when he gives you his you still can't say no." You retaliated.

You spun on your heel to the man on the bed who was currently flicking through a magazine that was left on the low coffee table in the middle of the room.

"Saaammy," You slid over to him and wrapping your arm around his shoulder. You rested your head on his broad shoulder.

"Mhm?" He didn't take his eyes away from the article he was currently reading.

"See how you love me so much and," You tugged his hair behind his ear and skimmed it with your lips and whispered, "I do so much for you and we do so much together..can you-"

"You want me to take you to the carnival?" Sam turned his head to you. His cheeks were a faint red.

"Yes!" You grinned a toothy smile. Sam smiled a little and titled his head in thought.

"Okay." He nodded. He kissed your cheek.

"Really?" You jumped up excitedly.

"Really." You wrapped your arms around him causing him to topple over onto the bed due to surprise and impact. His arms wrapped around your waist.

"Make sure you have a teddy bear and a blanket in the backseat in case a clown goes near him, poor baby might get scared."

"Shut up Dean!"

                                - - - -

You hadn't been to a carnival for so many years you forgot about the excitement that ran through your body as you strolled across the muddy grounds.

Sam's arm snaked around your waist so he wouldn't lose you in the crowd - he wouldn't be surprised if he did, you were like a child when it came to these things especially when you found a cute puppy or cuddly toy.

"So what do you want to do now?" Sam asked as he finished off the hamburger he had bought earlier.

"Mmm," You spun on your heels and searched the perimeter for something to do. Your spinning ceased and your search was over. Not far from you was a haunted house. Now was your chance to scare Sam.

"Haunted house?" You pointed over to the tall creepy building. People dashed in and out of it, many escaping and laughing at their friend because of how loud they screamed.

"Okay." Sam agreed with ease. You took his hand in yours and dragged him towards the creepy crypt, mud clinging to your shoes as you did so.

Once you had finally paid to get inside - although Sam had argued with you over who should pay; an argument that you had won - Sam's arm found it's way around your waist again, his grip a little tighter than usual.

"You're not scared now are you Sammy?" You asked with a smirk.

"What? No of course not, why would I be scared?" He coughed, checking around the pitch black corridors.

"Your holding onto my waist pretty damn tight and the space between us is getting smaller." You laughed.

"Sorry." He muttered. He loosened his grip slightly and the gap became a little wider.

"I wasn't complaining." You closed the space again, resting your head against his side.

The peace between the pair of you was disturbed by a terrifying clown jumping out you that made you scream and Sam have a heart attack. He clung onto the wall closest to him and you couldn't help by laugh.

You laughed so hard you could feel tears stream down your cheeks and your sides began to hurt.

"A-Are you okay baby?" You stuttered, taking in a deep breath to calm your laughter. You placed a hand on his arm and attempted to remove him from the wall.

Sam was terrified and almost shaking. His green eyes were open wide and he was paler that usual. He coughed, trying to compose himself.

You were still laughing a little, biting your lip to hold it in your chest but your entire body shook.

"That was scary." He spoke in a childish voice.

You wrapped your arm around his, dragging him towards the exit. "Awh my poor big brave man is scared of clowns." You pouted your lip.

"Those guys are freaky." Sam complained, running his free hand through his hair.

"But you deal with demons and angels and things a hell of a lot scarier than that." You tugged him through the exit and down the metal steps.

"Yeah, I have to deal with you."

"Sammy! That was mean!" You melodramatically turned your head away from him.

He placed his fingers under your chin and turned your head towards his again. "I'm sorry."

"So you should be." He kissed your lips, running his fingers through your (h/l) (h/c) hair.

The sun was setting, creating a cliché but completely romantic moment. It was one romantic moment that sent butterflies through your stomach and your head spinning.

"We don't mention this to Dean." He muttered in a husky voice. "Promise."

"Promise." You replied with your fingers crossed behind your back.
