Day One

Morning - Park

There was a little boy's birthday in progress.

Parker, Poppy, Phoebe, Prue and Piper were walking together.

"So, what are you so afraid of?" Parker asked.

"I'm not afraid," Phoebe told them. "I'm not. I'm just not sure."

"Not sure of what?" Prue asked.

"Josh," Poppy answered. "He wants to have 'the talk' with Phoebe."

"What talk?" Piper asked.

"Three dates, no sex," Parker told them. "There could only be one talk he's talking about. The talk. Safe sex, prior partners. Standard dating protocol."

"And so what, sex equals relationship?" Piper asked. "There has never been a relationship with Phoebe that sex means relationship."

Phoebe scoffed. "Thanks, Piper."

"And you're not sure you want to be a couple?" Prue asked.

"Well, it's not that I don't like him," Phoebe told them.

"Then what's wrong with being a couple?" Poppy asked.

"Well, the last time I was a couple with someone, he turned out to be a thief with an ancient goddess trying to kill him, before he left," Phoebe answered.

"Yeah, well, men seem to have a different definition of coupling than women do," Prue told them.

They walked up to the birthday party to talk to a woman named Dee and her son, the birthday boy David.

"Hey, Prue," Dee told her.

"Hey, Dee, how are you?" Prue asked.

Poppy looked at David. "Hey, how's the party going?"

"Great," David answered. "We're playing Squish the Squash, and nobody's been able to catch me." Prue's phone rang. "Is the cake ready?"

Piper nodded. "Uh, yeah, give us about five minutes."

"Awesome," David told them, running off toward the other kids in the park. "Hey, guys, five minutes until the cake."

"Thanks for doing all this, Piper," Dee told her. "I never would have been able to afford it."

"Hey, what are friends for?" Piper asked. "Besides, it's worth it just to see the look on David's face."

"He's a great kid," Parker told her.

"Yeah, I know," Dee told her.

Prue looked at her phone. "So much for my Saturday off. That was Claire. Something at the auction house needs to be appraised, so I gotta go. I'm so sorry."

The four other sisters waved to Prue. "Bye."

Prue walked away to head off to work.

Elsewhere

As the kids were playing with a ball, one kid accidentally threw the ball in the bush.

David ran to the bush. "I'll get it." He threw the ball back, but heard a cat meowing in the trees. He went to look. A Grimlock jumped out of the bush to grab David. "Help! Let go of me!"
