Day One

Morning - Halliwell Manor - Foyer

Hearing the doorbell, Prue walked toward the door, opening it, revealing Andy there. "Andy, hi."

"I was no where near the neighborhood, thought I'd stop by," Andy admitted.

Prue smiled. "Honest man. I like that." She stepped aside to let Andy in. Once he walked in, she closed the door. "So, um, I had a great time last night."

"Yeah, me too," Andy agreed. "But I forgot to give you something very important." He pulled out a little square box from his coat pocket. "A little present."

"I think you're getting your Halliwell birthdays mixed up," Prue told him. "Poppy and Parker's birthday is in a couple days. Mine is not until..."

Prue reached for the box.

Andy pulled it away. "I remember. Consider this a preview. And I definitely will be a Parker and Poppy's birthday party you told me about last night."

Prue took the box from him, opening it, pulling out what was inside. "A key?"

Andy nodded. "To the Calistoga Spa. We leave Friday night after work. Don't worry, I got us adjoining rooms."

"Adjoining rooms?" Prue repeated.

"Well, I wouldn't want to assume something I'm not supposed to be assuming," Andy told her. "Although, it has been over a month since we... then decided to take it slow, but no pressure. I just want to be with you, away, together. Think about it."

Prue smiled. "Okay."

Andy leaned closer to kiss Prue. "Let me know. Bye."

Andy left.

  Mark Chao's Mother's Place - Outside

Mark and his mother were standing outside.

Mark was holding a balloon. "Give me a break, Mom."

"There are a lot of hungry spirits out there, Mark," Mrs. Chao warned.

"You're like the Chinese Shirley MacLaine, you know that?" Mark asked.

Mrs. Chao shrugged. "Better safe than sorry."

"I'll risk it," Mark told her.

"You should have more respect for the ghosts, Mark," Mrs. Chao told him. "If your grandmother were here..."

"She's warn me about all the evil spirits walking the streets in Chinatown," Mark finished. "I know, I know."

Mrs. Chao took an amulet off a hook next to the door. "You should take this for protection."

Mark hooked the amulet back up. "Maybe the ghosts need protection from me." He kissed her on the cheek. "I'll be okay, Mom. I'm 23 now. I can take care of myself, okay?" He handed her the balloon. "I gotta go."

Mrs. Chao took the balloon from him. "Happy Birthday, Mark."

"Thanks," Mark told her, leaving.

Mrs. Chao sighed worriedly.
