On Saturday, we had the homecoming dance at my school. Well, I wore a lacy red dress, black flats, black jewelry, and a black bow in my hair. My mom curled my hair and painted my nails red too.

Anyway, I was going to the dance with my friends Shyanna and LELE904 . We got to the dance and stood in line to give the people our tickets. We ave them our tickets and student I.D. numbers and went into the gym where the dance was being held.

We stood around for a while and met up with Haylee, LELE904 'a friend. We hung out and danced and stuff. Well, after a while, Ryan came up to us and was hanging with us. He eventually found his friends and left.

I started looking around for Michael, hoping to find him alone.

I found him, just not alone.

He was with Emily, the girl who was flirting with him a few weeks ago (still not entirely sure of that though).

They were standing up on the platform where the bleachers are. Well, Shyanna dragged me up there and Michael saw us. He gave us all high fives. That was it.

Then he went back over to Emily. He never said a word to me.

He was hanging all over Emily the entire night. It made me sick.

They were always together. I wanted to slap them both.

Also, Michael's friend Abby kept pushing them together whenever Michael would walk away. That just made it all worse.

So after that, my night was ruined.

I'm kind of ashamed to admit this, but I cried the night of the dance. I couldn't help myself.

Seeing Michael with Emily made me realize that Michael probably doesn't even like me. I mean, what am I compared to her? She's a beautiful, popular cheerleader.

And I'm me.

But, the thing about Emily is, every time I'm around her, I get this horrible feeling that she's not a good person. Something just tells me that her being nice is just some kind of cover. I don't know why I feel like this around her, but I can't shake the feeling that she's not a good person.

This makes me worry that if she ends up with Michael, something is going to happen. I don't want her using him or anything either.
