Both girls were sent to class with notes after telling the officer what had happened. They didn't know how the dog got into the locker room. Or if they even knew who's dog it was. And there wasn't much more they could tell him.

Ms Wildwood was quickly rushed to a hospital to get her wounds treated. As well as a round of shots for rabies and other such things. Morticia was glad that was the extent of her injuries. It could have been so much worse if the officer hadn't arrived. She tried to not think of what could have happened to her or them. Instead she just headed into class and gave Mrs Hawkins the note she was given. Rebecca following after her as she asked,"Hey. Do you think Ms Wildwood is going to be alright?"

"Yeah. Her wounds weren't too bad and she'll be given shots.",she answered. Though she wasn't entirely sure how okay she would be. Physically she'd be fine. Mentally she'd probably stay away from school. Getting to her seat, she said,"But I don't think we'll be seeing her in school for a long while."

Her classmate said nothing as she set out her supplies. She looked at Morticia with a frown and nodded her head. Then both girls immediately went back to school work. Neither talking to each other during the entire hour of class. And neither really looking at each other. Rebecca spent most of her time telling her friends what had happened. Not even once mentioning her in the story that she told them. Which was fine with Morticia. She didn't want to hear what those girls thought of her.

As soon as the hour was up,she hurried off to find her girlfriend. Now Raven wasn't the only one with a weird story to tell. She tugged on her backpack as she hurried to her locker. It was getting hard to resist pushing people out of the way as she started down the hall. Everyone always took their sweet old time getting to the Commons room. Her teeth dug into her bottom lip as she finally got to Raven. Who was holding her things to her chest and looking around suspiciously. Like she was expecting someone to pop out at her. And when she got closer, Raven asked,"Do you wanna go to the library instead of the cafeteria?"

"Sure, why?",she asked. The library usually wasn't full around that time of day. And it was usually a good place to catch up on studies. Though with Raven's studying habits, she doubted this was the case. Raven answered,"I think we might find more information on what we're dealing with in there."

That sounded like a good idea to her. They could probably find a vague idea of what the 'little girl' was in there. That way when they were out of school they could look it up on their own laptops. Morticia followed her girlfriend into the library and towards the nonfiction section. They only had a vague idea of what they were looking for. Raven had suggested trying to find the occult section. She was a bit skeptical that there was one. And after two minutes of searching they came upon a small selection. There wasn't much there but it made Raven happy enough. Taking two books on demons out, they hurried to a table. Both of them opening the books as quickly as possible.

Despite their efforts, neither girl found anything useful. The 'little girl' didn't behave like any of these creatures. Nor did she seem to be like any of the fair folk in another book. It was like she wasn't anything the books ever came across. And it was frustrating them both. Raven whispered,"It could mean she's something that just isn't in here. The book selection wasn't exactly all that big."

"True but you'd think we'd find some hint or a clue or anything.",she whispered back. It just seemed so strange that they couldn't find anything. Then it slowly dawned on her and she asked in a low voice,"You don't think that this might actually be aliens?"

"...no. That's about as plausible as cosmic beings.",Raven answered in a hushed voice. Giving her an odd look, she whispered,"That's what aliens are, Raven."

"Yeah, no. Cosmic beings are from different dimensions.",she explained. Raven quietly shut the book she'd taken and set it down. Then she continued,"Aliens are from outer space. They're also what crazy folks think of and not normal people."

"Last Summer I didn't think ghosts or zombies existed.",Morticia said. She gave Raven a slight frown as she pushed her book away. In a soft voice, she asked,"And what did we meet during that Summer at my Grandparents' place?"

"A zombie and ghost.",Raven relented. Her girlfriend smiled a little as she said,"Yes. So aliens might not be outside the realm of possibility. Even if it sounds completely bat s-word coco puffs."

It sounded like a bad episode of the Twilight Zone. But Morticia had a point. After some of the stuff they'd seen last Summer, aliens weren't as crazy. Though it didn't make her any less skeptical of it being true. Unless the 'little girl' showed up looking like a Xenomorph, she wasn't going to entertain the idea of aliens. She even told her as much and put both the books away quickly. In a soft voice, she said,"We'll need to gather more evidence of her being that way before we can say she is. Like maybe looking up online of something similar to her."

"So I think we should research at my neighbors place.",she suggested. Morticia was going to ask why and remembered the attack. Then she asked,"You're going to tell me the whole story about last night if I agree?"

"Yes. You'll get the whole truth and nothing but.",Raven promised. Both girls got their things together as the bell rang. Lunch was over. They hurried towards their homeroom as Raven said,"Paulina might have seen the 'little girl' too. But she wasn't a little girl when Paulina saw her."

"Don't leave me in suspense. What did she see?",Morticia asked. Looking over at her girlfriend as they walked. She gave a slight smile as she answered,"She saw a huge beast with deer antlers wearing ratty clothes outside the hospital she works."
