"(Y/N)," someone said behind you and you turned quickly to see who it was. "Can you meet me back at the house in ten minutes?"
Michonne.
You nodded but your eyebrows knitted together in confusion as you didn't know what to expect.
"Don't look at me like that, you're worrying me," she laughed and nudged your shoulder. "It's nothing too harsh. I just need to sort something out with you..."
There was a pause as you crossed your arms over your chest. A flash of memory flew through your mind and you instantly knew what was coming in ten minutes.
"It didn't happen," you spoke and gave Michonne a hard state to hopefully get your point across, but it was no use as she was the queen of seeing through lies. She responded by smiling at your failure of a lie.

"You go to the house and wait, while I go and find the second culprit in the crime."
You threw your hands up in defeat, letting out an exaggerated sigh, "But Michonne-"
"What did I say?" She sternly cut you off. Her finger pointed behind you towards the house and she wouldn't turn away until you walked towards it. You tried to keep a straight face, as did she, but you both soon broke it the second your mouth twitched into a smile.

"Eight minutes now; that clocks ticking," she turned away on her heels towards a group who were building supports for the wall. Her steps were slow and you knew she had one last thing to say.
As you expected, she turned her head back sharply with a smile on her face.
"Don't be late, and I mean it."
• • • You took a walk around the block before you made your way back to the house. It was a nice day and you wished you could spend more of it outside instead of in a stupid meeting about a childish rumor floating about.
