"Hey Watty," Carl teased as he jogged up behind the infamous Dixon daughter. Watson jumped slightly before turning and punching Carl firmly in the arm.

"Hey asshole," she smiled and continued to walk the gray streets of Alexandria without a care in the world. "Need something?"

"Nope, just walking," he said. He jogged up next to the girl, their shoulders touching he was so close. Too close for Watkins' liking and she stepped a foot away to create space. Carl only followed with a small chuckle.

"There a problem?" He joked and nudged her arm with his elbow. "I don't stink do I? I took a shower this morning."

"Leave me alone, asshole." Watkins sped up her steps, though she already walked faster than normal. Carl had to jog up again just to catch up to the girl.

"Watty," he teased and leaned into her body. "Wats."

She ignored him, knowing he was just going to go through his list of nicknames for her again. It had been a joke to him ever since they met that she was the girl with the boys name. The only thing that had changed was her reaction. She used to get extremely annoyed with the names, but now she just shrugged them off and ignored his teasing.

"W.D. How about WD-40? That's a new one, huh? Or what about Dixie?" Carl laughed to himself before he leaned into the girl again. "How about I just call you Dix? That's a great name for you, Dix."

Watkins cracked a small smile, trying to hide it and look as if she didn't think it was funny. "There's no way you're gonna call me Dix."

"Why wouldn't I?"

"There's no way, I know you wouldn't." She smiled sarcastically at him before returning her gaze in front of her.

Rick walked towards the two with a slight worried look on his face that made both of the teens laugh. "Did I just see Watkins smile at my son?"

Carl once again nudged the girl who rolled her eyes and walked to the other side of Rick to finally get her space.

"I'm just a hilarious person, what can I say?" Carl motioned to himself and waited for Watkins' reply.

She looked up at Rick, excluding Carl from her next words with a smile, "he was talking to me but I couldn't pay attention because of his big coconut head."

Carl sighed, trying not to give Watkins the reaction she wanted. He shook his head and looked up at his father for his own reaction.

Rick looked at his son, their eyes meeting, but he laughed and ruffled his sons hair before walking off and leaving the two alone again

"You're an ass, Wats."

"You're right, asshole," she sang and walked off with a smile on her face.
