Your POV
You wake up in the morning with cramps and you groan. You just know it's going to be a bad day. You pull yourself from the warm bed and drudge downstairs to your kitchen. You pull some chocolate cheerios from the cupboard and get the milk from the fridge to make yourself some cereal. You finish up eating and fall back into bed.
Instead of going through the day snapping at all the annoying people at your job you just call in sick. You stay in bed all day watching stupid chick flicks that fulfill your need for romance while snacking on your secret stash of chocolate.
It's getting to be just around dinner time and your hear your phone vibrate on the beside table. You flop over and grab it and check your messages.
"Hey babe, want to go out tonight? Dinner's on me :)" from Ed. You sigh and text him back a quick response about not feeling well so maybe another time and go back to watching your chick flick.
Ed's POV
"I don't feel very well, maybe another time? I'm sorry I'll make it up to you later. Love you x" from Y/N.
I furrowed my eyebrow and set down the guitar I had in my hand. Y/N looked fine yesterday when I'd seen her. I wonder what happened.
Suddenly it clicked in my head and I checked my calender. "Y/N's time" was highlighted over this week. I left my rehearsal for the day and went to the drugstore for some chocolate, ice cream, and tampons. Then went to go pick up some Chinese food. When I'd finally gotten all the stuff I went to Y/N's house and used my key to get in.
I walked in quietly and set my keys down and listened for where she was. I heard the TV in the bedroom so I went up there with the food and peeked through the door.
Y/N was lying on the bed her hair a mess and still in her pajamas. She was clutching a small stuffed animal I'd gotten her in her arms and crying from the chick flick she was watching. I walked in and sat down beside her wiping the tears from her eyes. She jumped in surprise but then curled herself into my lap to finish crying about the movie. When she stopped crying she hugged me and smiled.
"Hey cutie, what are you doing here?" She asked.
"I thought if I couldn't take you out to party I'd bring the party to you. Complete with chocolate, ice cream, Chinese food, and extra supplies." I stressed the last word and she blushed cutely taking the box from the bag and putting it beside her bed.
"Thanks. I was running low on chocolate," She motioned to all the empty wrappers surrounding her.
"Well you gained more than just food. Also a cuddle buddy. What movie are we watching?" I pulled myself back against the headboard and wrapped my arm around her shoulders. We spent the rest of the night cuddling while watching chick flick movies and eating together.
