I think it was already 8 PM or something when we arrived in New Orleans. Nag check in agad kami sa hotel kasi I want to rest but Sebastian wants to go around. Ayoko maiwan mag-isa kaya no choice ako, I went out with him. Wait, I mean I joined him sa pagiikot around New Orleans.
We were walking along the French Quarter when some girl handed me a paper. While keeping close to Seb, binasa ko yung nasa papel.
"BROADWAY NIGHT!" I exclaimed. Napatingin sakin si Seb.
"What?" tanong nya sakin.
"This place is having a Broadway Night later. We should definitely go!" I dragged Seb and went straight to the bar or something in the paper handed to me earlier.
Nung pumasok kami, someone was singing All That Jazz from the musical Chicago. That got me even more excited. Chicago is one of my favorites especially when it was made into a movie like, ten years ago. All That Jazz and Cell Block Tango are my favorite songs.
"All That Jazz. Can this get even more cliche?" Seb said.
"Oh, shut up." I answered and yanked his arm.
I spotted someone with a list and went to her right away, still dragging Seb with me. Nagpalista ko and yasssss I'll perform. I just don't know what.
After that, pumunta kami ni Seb sa isang vacant table and he ordered stroganoff for both of us. I looked at him and he just sgrugged at me.
"Seriously? Stroganoff? Here? In a bar?" tanong ko sa kanya.
"I'm hungry. Don't pretend that you're not." tumawa lang sya, I rolled my eyes. "And this place is a restaurant. It just happens to have a bar and holds events like this."
He does make a point.
Dumating yung orders namin, and I am so hungry inatake ko na agad sya.
"Tan! Compose yourself, and do not slurp the stroganoff!" sabi ni Seb sakin after nyang tapikin ng medyo malakas yung kamay ko.
"I never cared for stroganoff." I said lazily.
"Ah! You said it like a Romanov!" may sumabat na lalaki, dadaan lang siguro sya pero narinig nya yung usapan namin ni Seb. "Anastasia reference?" tanong nya.
"Yes! Anastasia the Musical, Act 1-" sagot ko pero di ako nakatapos kasi sumagot ulit agad sya.
