Happy 18th Birthday

I hear Clary's voice downstairs and tell Jocelyn she's coming up. When she appears we both squad with joy.

"You guys also follow Simon's twitter account?"

"Of course, he needs the re-tweets" I smile.

Josie then gets out Clary's 18th birthday gift, which is her stele.

"Happy Birthday" Jocelyn says.

She opens it and gets it out tracing over the runes on the stele.

"Its called a stele" I tell Clary.

"What is it, like a paper weight?"

"It's very ancient" Josie explains "I want you to have it, it's a family heirloom"

"We Fray's have heirlooms?" she laughs. "You know it's weird, I doodled something like this this morning. I must of seen it somewhere"

The protections is starting to wear off Clary, she has to know sooner or later.

"Honey I need to-" Jocelyn starts but then Clary's phone rings.

"It's Simon, he's on his way over"

"But Josie needs to talk to you Clary"

"I can't right now, I gotta change. I'm seeing Champagne Enema tonight with Fallon"

"What?"

"Its the new name for Simon's band" I explain.

"We need to have an important talk" Jocelyn says.

"And we will, at breakfast. Thank you for the heirloom"

Jocelyn looks at me and I shrug and walk off. Time to get ready cause tonight I am sneaking into the club.

"Come on Fallon!" I hear Simon yell.

It's time to go so I rush down stairs and head towards the van.

We finally arrive at the place where Simon is performing and I order a latte. After it finished they decided to head to a club.

"I'm coming with!" I smile.

"Fallon your 16." Clary says.

"I get that your trying to be a sister and all but remember I am adopted. Plus I am 16 and have a fake ID"

"Come on Clary, you did the same thing when you were younger" Simon says.

She finally said yes and we head to a club called Panademonium. They all decided to wait for a bit but I decided to head in. While dancing I feel someone tap my back.

"Fallon, I don't think you should be in a club" Magnus says.

"Oh Magnus don't worry. I'm not drinking...much" I smile.

He just rolls his eyes and goes back to his seat, I turn around and see Clary walk in.

"Hey decided to join the party?" I ask.

"Uh yeah" she says and keeps walking.

Where is she going? I follow her and see her grab a guys buffy arm and walk into a room. What is Clary doing? I walk in to see 3 shadowhunters fighting and Clary accidentally stabbing a demon. Well this is great isn't it.

"Clary get out of here now!" I yell.

She runs behind me and we catch a taxi driving home.

Clary explains everything to her Josie and then she shows her runes.

"Mum what the hell"

"Honey, everything that has happened tonight has a meaning and an explanation"

"What is going on? And how does Fallon know about this?"

"The protections are wearing off and your 18 now-"

"Protections, what do you mean? Mum your scaring me!"

"Jocelyn!" Dot yells "Look out the window. Magnus called to warn us."

I look out the window to see 2 circle members.

"Dot, it's time"

While Dot gets the portal ready Clary keeps asking questions but we just don't have the time.

"Fallon" Josie says and I look at her. "Even thought you are not my daughter, you are the bravest girl I have ever known and you are my child. No matter what." she passes me my stele. "I love you."

"And I love you" I look towards Clary. "And I love you like a sister" I start to tear up.

Dot opens the portal and I get ready to transport.

"Fay, whats going on? Fay!" She yells but I disappear. 

I hope she will be alright.
