The Hybrid Herondale

Alicante

Caleb, Tasha, Aiden and I all head back to New York and I get them all an apartment. I tell them I better head back into the institute and that I'll call them later.

I walk in through the doors and see Simon carrying Clary. There was blood all over her.

"By the angel Clary! What happened?"

"Jace." She whispers to me.

"What? Jace wouldn't do this to you, he loves you!"

"Jace is the Owl." Luke comes up behind us.

He then tells me what happened. I just can't believe it. How? Jace is so strong, how could he get so easily possessed?

Alec, Izzy, Magnus, Luke, Simon, Clary and I then all decided to have a small meeting. Magnus tells us that he was possessed by a greater demon, a demon better then all demons, the mother of all demons. Her name is Lilith.

"I had a bad feeling when I met her and she looked like she was lying." I add.

"Well you are part Seelie so you would know." Magnus informs me.

"Alec," Clary starts "What you felt that night when your parabati rune disappeared...you were right. Jace did die. Valentine killed him."

"I knew it." He says under his breath.

"If he died, how did he come back?" Simon asks.

"The wish. You used the wish!" I realise.

"I had to, it was the only way to bring him back but it made him venerable. To Lilith. To this beast that had power enough to kill Ithuriel."

Oh my god. I can't believe this is happening. There is so much to take in. This and the whole Hybrid thing. Alec, Clary and Isabelle decided to go to the City of Glass to get a weapon strong enough to capture Jace, and I decide to join them.

We all visit my grandmother and decided to get her help which she does. We head to the weapons room but are then stopped by Chancellor Penhallow.

"I didn't realise we had visitors." She says. "What brings the crown jewels from the New York institute to Alicante?"

"My grandmother just wanted us to give us a tour of the armoury. So Isabelle can update her weapons back in New York." I lie.

"What a wonderful idea. I wish I could join you but now that Fallon is here I would like to talk to her." Chancellor Penhallow smiles.

I give them all a nod and begin to walk with the Chancellor. She tells me that she has heard rumours of a group of hybrids possibly hiding; she would like me to help her find them. Of course I couldn't say no otherwise she may get suspicious but I agree.

"What will you do when you-I mean we find them?"

"It depends, they broke a lot of laws. I hope to see you soon." She walks away.

I walk around the corner and spot Izzy, Clary and Alec with the weapon. We then all begin to quickly get out of Alicante. All of a sudden a fire message gets delivered to Alec.

"Change of plans, Jace is here. In the cemetery." He informs us.

"What?" Izzy says surprised.

"What is he doing?" Clary asks.

"I don't know, but we have to get him. Now." He bosses us.

We all make our way to the cemetery to find Jace digging up a grave.

"Jace." I walk out in front of him, he then begins to walk towards me. "Now!" I say and we all stick our parts of the cage into the ground; he is trapped.

"What have you done?" He says angry.

"It worked." Isabelle smiles.

In the distance we then hear dogs bark. They know we are here.

"What do we do now?" I ask.

"I can buy you some time." Clary says and begins to draw a rune. "I'll cover for you. Fix him."

"No Clary!" I tell her but it's to late. She pushes the portal towards us and we get swallowed by it.

Suddenly we are then in Magnus' apartment.

"You think you can contain me?" Jace laughs. "Your even stupider than I thought."

"We are gonna save you Jace." Alec spits back.

"It's only a matter of time before Lilith finds me, finds you. You will all be dead by sunrise."

"I don't think so. We will battle her with everything we got. We won't let her take you again." I say to Jace.

"Oh Fallon. Lilith may kill you but if she doesn't the Clave will. Especially with what your hiding." He smirks.

"What is he talking about Fay?" Izzy asks.

A/N; Hey guys so 'The Hybrid Herondale' will be put on hold for 3 few weeks. I really need to concentrate on my school work. But I promise you it won't be held on for months or years!
