Chapter Three- Taken

What the heck Wattpad?

Its been a few days since Pidge woke up. The group felt further away from Pidge as if she was never part of the group.

She spent most of her time locked up in her "Lab" studying the diamond. Every time someone went to talk to her she said a few brief words before walking away.

She rarely showed up for meals. So Hunk had to deliver the food to her room.

The dining room was quite as Hunk returned from giving Pidge her food.

"We can't just let her stay in her room forever!" Lance shouts breaking the silence.

Everyone looks at him numbly. Shiro nods and stands up.

"I'll go talk to her."

BANG!!

Everyone freezes before standing up and dashing to where the explosion came from.

The enter the room where the green lion was kept. The room was a mess and the explosion didn't help. Ash was everywhere and sitting there on the ground face covered with ash was Pidge.

"Pidge what the heck?!" Keith shouts. Pidge looks up at them a small smile tugs on the corner of her lips before a small laugh escapes. She covers her mouth as a waterfall of giggles escape.

The paladins' anger quickly disappeared. It's been forever since they actually heard Pidge laugh and it brought them joy.

Pidge gasps for air as she chokes out air from laughing.

"That didn't happen as planned." She says looking at the Paladins with a small smile before coughing out some ash.

"What were you doing?" Shiro asks walking over to Pidge and kneeling next to her looking into her big amber eyes.

"Just working on something," Pidge responds looking away from him.

Shiro opens his mouth to respond when blaring alarms explode throughout the room.

Pidge stands up and brushes herself off. Getting the ash off of her face. She runs out of the room to go change. Everyone stood there for a second before following her example. Soon everyone was suited up and on their way to their lions.

"Paladins, it seems a small fleet of Galra is heading our way,"Allura states her face popping up in the corner of everyone's screen

"Let's go kick their butts," Lance exclaims flying towards the Galra followed by the rest of the lions.

"Shiro, what if they have prisoners?" Pidge asks pulling the green lion to the side of the black lion.

"You and Lance. Go aboard and find the prisoners." Shiro answers

Pidge and Lance nod before pulling downwards and underneath the Galra ship. They turn on the air thingy. And cut a hole into the Galra ship and enter it.

They climb into the Galra ship and look around at the empty halls. Pidge turns around and heads down the hallway. Lance followed behind her looking behind them for any Galra.

They make it to a cell and open it. Inside was eight aliens.

"Is there anyone else?" Pidge asks and they shake their head. "Come, Let's get out of here."  The cell door closes and down the hallway was ten Galra staring at them before they came running at them.

"Let's go!" Lance shouts pushing them down the hall.

They run and make it to the hole. Lance climbs down and Pidge helps the prisoners get in. She starts to climb down herself when strong purple arms wrap around her and pull her back.

"PIDGE!" Lance shouts trying to climb back up.

"LANCE GO!!" Pidge yelled, struggling against the Galra. "Their safety is more important than mine! GO!"

Lance with a heavy heart pulled away from the Galra big ship. He took the green lion and flee back to the where others were waiting.

"Where's Pidge?" Hunk asked.

"T—they have her," Lance whispered. His lion turned away from the others and flew back to the castle. At that same moment, Galra ship turned around and flew away.

The rest of the Paladins just sat there trying to process the news they revived. They felt broken and empty without Pidge.

Slowly one by one they head back to the castle.
