1k views!!! Thanks guys for reading this story! It means a lot!! It makes me really happy and actually feel like I'm good at writing. So again, thank you for treading this story.
Yeah, I'm sorry for the late update. Just been a bit busy with...stuff
I'm also debating if I should writing an original story and post it on this account, or if I should just leave this account for my fanfics and post it on my other account.
Now enough talking, here's the chapter. Enjoy!
Pidge rested her head on the key board in front of her. She was completely exhausted from running away from the Paladins.
'Why'd you run away?' A voice asked in her head.
'Cause, they would have never accepted me.' Pidge responded in thought.
'How do you know that?' The voice asked again
'Because I'm a monster. I'm a killer.'
The voice went silent and Pidge perked up as a familiar presence entered her head.
Italics are what the lion is saying.
There's a planet nearing.
"Let's land there and see if we can find any food." Pidge said a loud. The lion changed her direction and dove down into the planet's atmosphere. "Woah"
The planet was covered with beautiful greenery. The water on the island sparkled like thousands of diamonds. Alien birds flew through the air. Pidge's eyes were wide as she absorbed everything like a sponge.
The lion landed gracefully in a small meadow by the glimmering lake. Pidge exited the lion and breathed in the fresh, tropical air. "This place is amazing."
Pidge moved forward, taking is everything. "Look at this place!!"
Pidge spun around breathing in everything. "Wow"
A few more minutes before Pidge finally got a hold of herself. "We probably should make camp." She said her eyes on the setting blue sun.
Pidge entered the lion again and pulled out a couple of blankets. "Tonight I'll sleep outside. I wonder how it'll look at night."
Pidge walked out of the lion and laid the blanket down in front of her lion. Then she laid down on the blanket and pulled another one over her. Then rested her head on her arm and looked up at the darkened sky. Thousands among thousands of stars could be seen. The sight was beautiful.
Slowly Pidge drifted off to sleep.
When Pidge awoke again it was to an unusual sound. A sound she'd never heard before. Pidge cautiously rose from her makeshift bed and glanced around at her surroundings. The night sounds were gone and it was dead silent. She didn't like it.
Pidge slowly moved forward. A stick tightly clenched in her hand. Pidge glared at her surroundings. The sound of a bush moving caught her attention. Pidge turned towards the bush. The rustling stopped and all was silent again.
Pidge slowly lowered her stick when the sound stopped. She turned away from the bush and shook her head. "I'm to tired for this." She whispered as she started to walk back to her makeshift bed.
The sun was peaking from behind the mountain. Sunlight slowly leaked back into the world. Pidge looked around again and groaned. "Guess I can't go back to sleep."
The rumbling of her stomach pulled her out of her complaints of losing sleep. "Looks like I'm hungry. Stay here green. I'm going into the forest to hunt for some food."
Pidge walked to the edge of the forest before glancing back at her lion. With another deep breath she walked into the forest. The sun peaked through the canopy of the trees. Pidge looked around for a weapon to use as she neared a calm river.
Pidge looked at the ground and froze. On the ground was a stick, though the top of it was sharpened like a spear. It had some dry blood on it. So the user of the weapon must be gone.
Pidge slowly walked towards the weapon and picked it up. Nothing happened. A breath that Pidge held was released.
Pidge examined the weapon before her eyes landed on the river. A small smile danced on her face and she new what to do.
A few hours later Pidge walked back out of the forest and to her lion. She dropped the spear and a few big fish with it. "That should last through the day." She grinned before starting a small fire to cook to the food with.
A small growl drew Pidge's attention. She turned towards the direction it came from. Nothing.
Another growl joined in followed by a few more. Pidge reaches over to pick up the spear when something latched onto Pidge's back cloth and dragged her out into the forest in a blink of an eye.
I was debating if I should end it here or not. It'd be a sort chapter. But then again it would be a great cliffhanger!!!! XD
Love you guys
