"Paladins, I have found the Green Lion. It is one the planet Mesious. Which is mostly empty and filled with exotic wild life." Allura informed the Paladins.

"Do you know why the thief went there?" Shiro asked.

"I do not. I do know that the lion hasn't moved for a few days."

"So they could leave at any moment." Keith nodded to himself. "We need to get going."

"Suit up."

Pidge walked back towards the hidden house. Kae stood there her arms filled with apples, a soft smile on her face as Pidge approached.

"Are you sure? I could come with you on your journey. " Kae said as Pidge reached her.

"I'm sure, Kae." Pidge replied fliching in pain as she bent down to set the water can down.

"You are still injured. I could be a great help to you, I know a lot about nature on multiple planets and I speak multiple languages." Kae insisted, watching Pidge stiffly sit down.

"Kae, please. I don't want anyone getting hurt." Pidge answered.

"At least let me help you gather supplies." Kae said softly setting the apples down into a basket.

Pidge sighed. "Fine"

Kae grinned, handing Pidge the basket. "Place this in your lion, I will go fetch some more food." Kae skipped off into the forest, multiple baskets in her hands.

Pidge stood up once again. "Why did I bother sitting down, if I was just gonna get back up again?" She asked herself, picking up another water carrier and walking into the forest.

Pidge made her way back to the river, very stiffly she lowered herself and filled up the container. All was quiet until a sound of multiple engines filled the air. Pidge froze, was it them? Did they find her again?!

Pidge felt herself panicking at the fear of getting captured by the Galra again. The tides of the river pulled stronger as her breath quickened. Pidge looked up as four lions flew above her. She felt herself relax and the river calmed.

Pidge stood up her grip tightening on the container, it was time for her to go. Pidge walked away from the river and towards the house. She got there and Kae was placing baskets down.

"I have to go." Pidge said hurriedly

"Wait? Why?" Kae questioned picking up the baskets.

"No time to explain." Pidge answered. "But I think it would be best if you came with me." A grin sprouted on Kae's face.

"Really?"

"Yes! Now get the baskets and let's go!" Pidge snapped grabbing three more water containers. The two of them hurried towards the green lion, who was still hidden from view.

Pidge opened the lion's mouth and started loading supplies onto it, when a howl pierced through the once again quiet air. Pidge froze. "They need my help, Kae stay here and finish loading up." Pidge said grabbing her bayard.

Pidge made her way through the forest for a few minutes before finding four paladins all on the ground, surrounded by a pack of twelve angry jungle beasts. Hunk was badly injured and knocked out, Lance had lost his bayard, Keith was pinned down by one of the beasts, and Shiro was trying to protect Hunk, only to get knocked down himself.

Pidge groaned and her bayard turned into her familiar weapon, pulling a hood over her head, also covering her amour she lunged out of the bushes and attacked.

"Twelve against four, that just isn't fair." She pouted, her voice different from what the Paladins could remember of Pidge.

The Paladins looked up at her, confusion written across their faces. Three of the beasts lunged at Pidge, she brought them down easily. A four more attacked her, it was still easy for Pidge. None of them touched, or even get close to. Another pair of four attacked, a few of them coming close to injuring Pidge.

Pidge stared at the eleven wolves she brought down, satisfied until a spark of pain burst throughout her body, coming from her back, causing her to cry out in pain. The four Paladins looked up at the cry, sounding familiar to a few of them. Pidge pushed herself off of the ground when the beast lunged on top of her. It bit and scratched her, reopening the wounds that have yet to heal.

A loud shot cut through the air and Pidge noticed the beast was off of her. She quickly got off of the ground, giving the Paladins a quick glance before disappearing into the forest

Pidge pressed her hand against the reopened would on her stomach as she ran towards the green lion. She could hear the other Paladins behind her.

Pidge ran into the open mouth of the lion. She glanced over her shoulder and saw the paladins breaking through the forest. Pidge felt her heart lurch, wanting to stop and just go back to them. Pidge bit her lip and watched as the Lions mouth closed.
