Lance stood there, looking at the healing pods. That each had an injured prisoner in it. The one that got his attention the most was a girl. She was injured terribly and would have bled out if the Paladin's didn't show up. She seemed oddly familiar and Lance wanted to find out why.

"Lance" Allura said walking next to him. "You need to sleep. They won't be going anywhere."

Lance stood there as a long, awkward silence spread out. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity. Lance turned away from the healing pods and walked out of the room in deep thought.

Allura sighed as she turned around and followed him. The main question in her mind. What is up with Lance?

Quietly, Lance entered the hangout room. He was silent as he walked past his fellow Paladins and collapsed onto the couch.

Shiro and Hunk exchange glances while Keith was trying to learn Monster and Mana from Coran.

"Are you sure this is right?" Keith asked as his character ran forward and faceplanted.

"Yes, you rolled a one which makes your character fail automatically, and dramatically."

"Lance," Shiro said, his eyes on the blue Paladin. "How about you join us for a round of Monster's and Mana."

Lance leaned forward and nodded. He grabbed the character he usually used and placed it in the game.

After a few hours of playing an intense game of Monster and Mana. The healing pods finally opened. Each captive was questioned separately by the Paladins.

The auburn haired girl walked into the room where they were going to question her. She glanced up at the Paladins before looking away. Her expression was unreadable as she slowly sat down. Her eyes stayed on her hands as Shiro took a step forward to ask the first question.

"How long did the Galra have you?" Shiro asked, his eyes scanning over her. He took note of every scar he saw on her arms and her legs, the vision of her badly bleeding still in his head.

The girl didn't look up at Shiro. "Long enough." She said, her voice sounded oddly familiar to the Paladins but also new.

"Why were you bleeding out when I found you?" Keith asked, saying the question everyone was thinking.

The girl visibly tensed. She linked her hands to together and kept on looking down. A clear sign that she didn't want to answer the question. All of the other prisoners answered every question. Though some hesitated.

A long silence seemed to grow in the room before the question was answered.

"They made me fight." Her voice was small, barely auto-able but it had poison in it. A clear message was sent. No more questions. The Paladins shared a mental conversation before they let the girl go.

Just kidding! I'm not going to end it here. Let's keep on going 484 words isn't enough.

A different captive walked into the room after Pidge walked out. Pidge looked around the hallway, a small sigh escaped her mouth. She turned and started heading down the hallway when something stopped her. It was like a voice in her head. A presence she hadn't felt in three years. Pidge's eyes widened as she turned around sharply and looked down the hallway.

"Green." Pidge breathed before taking off down the hallway.

Pidge took a series of turns, though it's been awhile since she's been here. She still knew where she was going. Quicker than she could process, Pidge was in the elevator.

The elevator opened and Pidge was down and lunged onto the zip line. Giving it a major boost down the ramp, then she was in the car. In a blink of an eye, she was in front of her lion.

Pidge glanced around the room. She knew there were cameras and it wouldn't be long until Allura noticed she was there. Pidge didn't care though, she needed to say hi to an old friend.

Pidge took one slow step forward and placed her hand on the nose of the lion. Then another step and her forehead was on the nose. "I missed you girl."

Pidge turned around and started to walk away. When a familiar sound of the mouth opening came.  Next thing Pidge knew she stepped into the ramp. An alarm filled the castle. Allura spotted her.

"Paladins! There is someone in the Green lions hanger!" Allura's voice came over the speakers and footsteps pounded down the hall. Pidge bit back a food curse. She forgot about the easier way in.

The doors flew open as Pidge sat down in the seat. The lion's mouth closed and stood a loud roar, rang though the room.

Pidge could head the other Paladins shouting. She watched as the spilt out of the room. Probably heading to their own lions.

Pidge controlled the lion causing it to fly out of the hanger before Allura could close the doors.

Pidge's eyes widened as she flew out into the space. "I forgot how great this was!!" She laughed. "Keep on flying, girl."

Pidge sucked down under the console. Right as Shiro's face appeared in the corner of the screen. "Return the green lion" he said, confusion lining his voice.

Pidge grabbed an old helmet and slipped it over her head. It was a dark cover so no one would see her face.

She sat up into the chair and started typing a bunch of coding as Shiro was commanding her to return the green lion. His voice started to go static and then the message shut off. Pidge types another code.

"That should keep them from messaging us." Pidge leaned back. "I can't believe you still let me in."

The lion hummed in reply. A small smile sprouted onto Pidge's face. It's been three years since Pidge felt happy and truly smiled.
