Chapter Two- Changed

Early update because I finished the chapter and decided that I'm just going to publish the chapters when I finish them. So enjoy!!

"Bring her over here," Allura says guiding Shiro who was holding Pidge. Her face will fill with pain.

Blood ran down her cheek dropping down onto the floor. Shiro lays her down on a bed and Allura runs over to Pidge's side.

"We need to wash her face." She says pulling out a washcloth and placing it on Pidge's face gently wiping the dirt and blood off of her face. "There's a lot of blood. What happened?"

"I don't know," Shiro answers pacing the floor.

"I'm going to scan her to see how many injuries she has," Allura says turning in the scanner and watching is scan Pidge. An image of Pidge's body shows up on the screen.

"She took a bad beating. The healing pod can heal her though." Allura says looking at the screen. "But there's something in her chest about an inch away from her collarbone. I'll have to examine that before we put her in the healing pod. I'll need you guys to leave, except you Shiro. I might need your help."

The guys nod before exiting the room. Shiro stands to Allura's side as she moves over to Pidge. "Sit her up."

Shiro reaches behind Pidge's back and props her up. She cries out in pain as her body slumps against Shiro's. Allura reaches over to Pidge and pulls her armor off, trying to be as gentle as she could. Pidge flinches in pain. As the armor gets pulled off of her leaving her in the clothes under the armor.

Allura reaches down and pulls off that top too. Now Pidge was in her sports bra. Allura grabs a new clean rag and starts to clean the wound. Shiro holds Pidge steady as she screams out, tears stream down her face as she tries to squirm away.

Soon the wound is clean and it is quite clear that they could see the green to blue ombré diamond stuck in her chest.

"That may be a problem," Allura says looking at the diamond.

"Can you remove it?" Shiro asks looking over at the diamond.

"I can try, but we don't know what will happen to her," Allura answers as she touches the diamond. She reaches behind her a pulls out some tools. "Hold her steady. This is going to hurt her, a lot."

Allura hooks onto the diamond with the tool and starts to pull. The diamond wouldn't move. More blood seeped from the wound as Pidge started to cry, tears streamed down her face and she screams, squirms and cries out in pain. Allura keeps on pulling on the diamond but it wouldn't move.

The room went silent. Pidge's body stilled. Her chest stopped moving up and down. Her eyelids fluttered before closing.

"Pidge?!" Shiro exclaims laying her back down and placing his head on her chest. Nothing. "PIDGE!!" He shouts putting his hands on her chest and stars pressing. "Come on! PIDGE YOU CAN'T DIE!!" Tears streamed down the black paladin's face as he kept on doing CPR.

"No," Shiro says after getting no response. He places his face in his hands and his whole body starts to shake as he cried.

The door opens and the rest of the paladins run in.

"Woah. Is Shiro crying?" Lance exclaims staring at him in shock. Keith walks over to Shiro and puts a hand on his shoulder.

"What happened?" Keith asks looking at Pidge's limp body.

"She-" Shiro's voice cracks as he shakes his head. "She's gone."

"No," Lance exclaims. "I don't believe it! Allura do you have shockers?"
