27--

P.O.V. of Kyle

We walk through the halls towards the hotel room. I carried the dog as she carried the cat. "Stay here." I say as we get in, I put her and the animals in one of the bedrooms. She nods and crosses her arms, concerned, as the dog ran around, barking, and the cat laid next to her, playing with the sheets. I walk through the room. "Oli?" I call out.

"In here!" He calls, muffled, or maybe he's eating. I walk into the tv room and see Toni and Oliver sitting on the couch, watching basketball. "What's up?" He says, his eyes glued to the tv set.

"Did you lose your phone or something?"

"No why?"

"Galina and I have been trying to call you."

"Sorry, I was out." He shrugged off, still looking at the tv.

"And when you came back you couldn't have checked it?"

"Didn't dawn on me."

"Seriously? Are you fricking me Oliver?"

"What?" He said, with food in his mouth.

"Well, just so you know, Galina got beat up." I said as I walk away.

"What?" He said, quickly. That got his attention. "What happened? Where is she? Is she okay?" He grabbed my shoulder.

"Yeah, she's fine now, but bruised. If you answered your phone she would be fine."

"Don't turn this on me. It's not my fault."

"Then who's is it?"

"Not mine. Just let me talk to her."

"She's in Roger's room."

P.O.V. of Oliver

I rush into Roger's room and see her on the bed on her phone. She turns around and drops her phone, running to me as the dog chases the cat out the room, but I didn't really pay attention to them. I squeeze her, burying my face in her shoulder. "I'm so sorry I was being a jerk. I promise I will not be on my phone anymore. I promise, I just miss you Oliver, I admit I was being selfish, and I'm really sorry about what I said about your band. I know they mean a lot to you, and I shouldn't have said that. I take it back, honestly." She says in one breath. I pull back and examine her face. She had bruises on her arms, wrist, face, and a cut on her lip and cheek. I touch them, she winces in reflex.

"Galina, I'm so sorry." I whisper, pulling her in for a hug. "What happened?" I sit us on the bed. She tells me from when she opened the door to now. Everything. "I guess I have to thank Kyle now."

"I'm really grateful that he looked at you phone... If he didn't come... I don't think I would be here right now."

"Don't say that. Please. You're going to be okay. How many times has he hit you or you guys got into it?"

"More than 20. That's all I know."

"Concussions?"

"Not yet. I have a nut head." She knocks on her head.

"You have to move out, now."

"I'm almost done, just a few more boxes."

"I'll do it, you get some rest, and when you feel better, we will go looking okay? I'll bring your stuff here."

She smiled and leaned her head on me. "I love you." She whispered.

"I love you too." I kiss her head and lay her down. "I'll be back." I tuck her in and kiss her then leave.
