With a New Face of Failure

I woke up to my own snore. I jerk up to see if anyone heard me sleeping, but no one was even moving. We were spread out on Roger's bed. Kyle was on the foot of his bed and Toni was half laying on him, while I was in chair, but half my body was on his bed. I get up and check the time. Almost 9 in the morning. I yawn and get up, cracking my whole spine. I lazily shuffle my feet out the room and towards the nearest coffee shop. I walk in, more aware, I get in line. Finally I get to the front and misty green eyed girl appeared. "Well hello." I smiled.

"Hi Oli. What can I get you?"

"Another date please?" 

"When?"

"I dunno, I'm staying a little longer. So today?" I grazed her hand.

"Maybe. I'll text you. Now, what to drink?" I ordered for all of the gang. She passes me my drinks. "See you later." Winking. I nodded and left. As I walked down the street a group of girls swarmed me.

"Hey hey!" I back up, careful not to spill my drink.

"Omg sooooo sorry Oli!" They giggled, they were around 14. I smiled. I loved fans.

"Hey, sorry guys. Would you mind helping me?" I handed them one drink. They grasps it and I handed the rest to the other 2 girls. "Do your parents mind?"

"Nope! Nope!" They smiled and followed behind me to the hospital. They asked me tons of questions and took pictures of me. Finally we get to the hospital and the security guards stop them, but I let them through.

"Okay, you guys cannot tell anyone about this. Okay? It's a big deal, really." I stopped in front the room, explaining to them.

"Okay. We get it." They nod in agreement. I open the door and the guys were up and singing a song. Surprisingly a good time for them. 

"Oh, hey Oli and ladies." He grinned. I slapped his head and he scowled at me. They handed the drinks to the right people. 

"We are big fans! Like reeeaaally big fans!" They giggled. They asks us questions until the doctor came in. They sighed and asked us to take pictures. We agreed. Then they left.

"They were cute." Toni says.

"Yeah, adorable." Kyle smiles.

"Bad time?" The doctor stands near the bed.

"No, it's fine." Roger shushes us. 

"Okay, you have an appointment tomorrow at 5. Is that alright?"

"I'm not going anywhere." He laughs.

"Okay, see you tomorrow." He leaves.

"Thank you!" Roger shouts behind him. 

As we are talking my phone vibrates. I take it out and Galina says she just got out of work. "Oh, I gotta go." I get up and leave.

"Where you goi-" I shut the door, almost racing down the hall. Excited. I press the buttons fiercely until it slides open. I shove the buttons and wait for the doors to close. 

Finally I get to the bridge and see her. I hug her from behind and she laughs, turns around. "Hey, gurl." I smiled and kiss her forehead. She laughs and hugs me tighter.

"How was the coffee this morning?"

"Good... Why?" I get nervous. Hoping she didn't see the girls race up to me.

"Just asking. Geez." She lets go and grabs my hand. "Let's go to a mall. Just to walk around."

"Okay." I smile and hold her waist close to me. We laugh and talk until we reach the mall. Then I realized... Fans. "Oh, dang, let's go back to that garden you were showing me."
